Loved the food. My wife said they have less oil than other Thai restaurants. The flavor was outstanding 👌🏾 Rice was okay; she had white, I had brown. My Cashew Mock Duck was good and she had the Pumpkin Curry 🍛 We always split the food and we both dug (slang), both. Pros: Taste, Waitresses, Ambiance Cons: Fried Tofu was not fresh
We stumbled upon this after visiting Balboa Park. Every item on the menu is delicious. We had the Tom yum soup, Spicy rice noodles with Vegan Chicken, Khao Soi with Tempura vegan duck and the Thai tea. I would highly recommend this for a visit.
Lovely Thai food for vegetarians. Really enjoyed the service and ambience and the rich taste of Thai food. Special shout out to khao Soi and the spicy basil fried rice
Overpriced for quality, taste and quantity. Wait staff judges but service is quick. Tom kha is spicy coconut milk with few pieces of boiled veg. Not your typical authentic Thai. Satay were just fried vegan meat.
Lighter Thai vegetarian restaurant with many mock meat options. The duck noodle soup was excellent. The mock duck was crispy with a pleasant texture. The herb soup base was tasty (great for a cooler evening) and complemented by fresh vegetables, soft noodles, and a lime sauce. The brown rice and steamed tofu were great options with Plumeria’s Mixed Fiber Plate. This was a moderate and healthy option - not too light or heavy. The fried rice noodles were wide and soft. The sauce was flavorful and not overwhelming. The yellow curry had a thinner sauce (almost a buttery component on first taste) with crisp carrots and potatoes. In comparison, the pumpkin curry had a robust flavor and body, which was a popular dish (recommended!). Overall, the steamed tofu and mock duck were good options for our group. The mock beef was not as popular due to the texture. A spice level of 2-3 out of 10 was true to the scale and worked for the kids in the group.
