We love plush paws! The ease of booking and their availability has helped us with last minute grooms and sanitary trims. We do pay extra for express grooming and think it’s 10000% worth the price. Our pups love Caitlyn and she always does a great job making them look handsome!
I showed the groomer a photo of my doodle puppy (first photo below). I explicitly stated that I did not want her shaved and cut like the dogs that were being groomed at the time. I said I like her "scruffy" look and did not want her hair cut short. I stated I wanted the hair around her private parts and her eyes clipped, but I wanted her to look like she did in the picture taken six weeks ago. I am distraught that they "shaved" my puppy...even around the eyes. The top of her head looks like a poodle "puff". She doesn't even look like the same dog. To top it all off, the manager was argumentative and continually interrupted me. When I asked to speak with the owner, she said the owner was unavailable. I do NOT recommend this place. Apparently, they do not listen to their customers, and they are put out when the customers complain about the finished result. The first photo is the photo I showed her, and it was taken six weeks ago. The second photo looks like a completely different puppy, after she was groomed today.
I just brought my first puppy ever to get her first groom and Plush Paws did AMAZING!! We are working on my pup’s fear of new people and of men, and the whole staff was extremely understanding and patient with my pup when I dropped her off. Stephanie did her groom and I cannot say enough good about her! She was the kindest and most caring of my pup and did such a good job with her. She asked what I was looking for and did exactly that! I wanted a nice short cut for my doodle because she has dark fur and gets very overheated and my baby came out looking so comfortable in her new cut! When I came to pick her up, she loved Stephanie so much she almost didn’t even want to leave! She was licking and hugging her, so I know she had the best first experience with grooming. I will definitely be coming to Stephanie and Plush Paws for every future groom! Stephanie was even sweet enough to throw in a little bit of color for my pup’s little white tail tip, free of charge! Plush Paws really does care about the dogs they’re grooming and I cannot recommend them enough. Stephanie gave my girl a wonderful short cut and got through all her crazy grown out puppy fluff! First trip to this salon and they did a great job on a mini-groom of our golden. Her coat looks refreshed, clean, and she was trimmed up correctly around the paws and ears. Bonus: they accommodated a last minute appointment request so we were very thankful. Their prices were very reasonable as well! We will definitely revisit.
We adore Plush Paws!! They worked so well with our almost 17-year-old who wouldn’t let anyone touch her nails! Sadly, she passed this summer but our current trio loves being pampered!!
