Love this place and getting my nails done by Yolany. Started using builders gel and I’m so impressed with the quality and longevity of the product.the shop is lovely location and set up. Yolany is great to work with and I trust her to do a good job and make an idea I may have even better.
5 Stars - Emma is a true gem! I saw Emma for the first time today, and she absolutely lived up to all the fantastic reviews I read online! She was wonderful, welcoming, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The salon is very cute, clean, everyone was very kind, and the music was great :) Her technical skill is truly top-notch. She did an incredible job building up my nails with the builder gel, giving them a beautiful, flawless structure and shape. As builder gel is a staple where I'm from in Europe, I was worried about finding someone good in DC (and didn't want to switch to dip powder), but I am so happy I found her! I walked out with exactly what I wanted. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment and highly recommend Emma and Polished to anyone looking for amazing nails and a wonderful technician! 12.24 Another amazing visit! Worked with Tiffany on these deep mulberry shine gels, and honestly, I’m always impressed here. The team is genuinely kind, creative, and really good at what they do, they take your idea and elevate it. My gel extensions last forever, and the staff is flexible, supportive, and meticulous about maintenance. It’s one of those salons that just gets it right.
August is my nail tech for builder gel! She's so meticulous and fast. Last picture is after 4 weeks, great retention. Also this salon had the exact color I wanted, DND cherry mocha. They also have builder gel in other colors but I always do clear and gel polish. I am going to her next week, and will be asking for a design. I will update the review then. 10/10 - I loved my nails.
I started going to Polished (Emma) in May and have had a great experience each time! Emma convinced me to transition from dip powder to gel builder and I’m so glad I did! My nails have grown long, healthy, and haven't cracked at all. Each set lasts a solid month with no lifting, or chipping in between! 100/10 :)
