Inside the Chop Row Building with other cute studios and cafes. Really cutely decorated waiting area that fits just enough people for a large class. The locker keys you get when you sign in at the front desk. There is a water fountain so bring your water bottle! I saw some changing rooms but I didn’t use it. Overall it was very clean and an inviting environment! It’s street parking so get there early! The instructor (my first time) was so nice! I was able to follow along and see the instructor. They start and end very on time.

I started taking classes here in the fall and I regret that I didn’t do it sooner! I’ve taken at least 5 different classes at the intro and beginner level here and every instructor is top notch. They all have their own spin, but all prioritize finding joy in movement. And the music is always great! If you’ve ever considered taking a class here, do it, you might get addicted!

I tried the beginner package for $30 for 3hrs of class. Took my first ever 2 Heels classes and they were AMAZING! The music was bumpin and the moves made me feel so sexy and cool! I’m a boy mom and generally feel pretty schlubby. The dance classes this studio offers helped make me feel more happy, beautiful, and confident with myself. It’s a real testament to the teachers. I especially LOVED my class with Chyna. She made me laugh throughout class. Since it’s close to Christmas, she was dressed as sexy Santa and taught sexy Christmas choreo to Ariana Grande’s-Santa Baby. I love how she structured the class: start and end with two 8-counts of freestyling to infuse your own personality, then she drilled the choreo a lot so that you feel sexy and confident, and she kept a pulse on the class as a whole to make sure she doesn’t over-do it with teaching too much choreo where the class then feels overwhelmed. Everything about the class with Chyna was amazing!! I’ve been dancing for 15yrs and her class and this studio has been the best dance classes I’ve ever been do. Feel lucky to have stumbled upon PopRox. Thanks for making me feel great!

We rented the Capitol Hill PopRox Dance Studio for a law school graduation party, and it was more than we could ever expect! The space was beautiful, clean, and had such great energy, the music and lighting made it feel like a full-on event. The playlist they created was catered so well, my family and friends kept asking who made it. Everyone had the best time! I’ve also taken a couple of dance classes here, and the staff is always incredible. They’re really good at making you feel welcome and comfortable, no matter your skill level. They bring so much positivity and fun to every class and event. Whether you’re hosting a party or looking for a great place to dance, PopRox is the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

PopRox Capitol Hill studio has quickly become one of my favorite places to take classes. Everyone here is so friendly, and the instructors make it easy to just let go and enjoy dancing. The space feels really comfortable and community-driven. No pressure, just people having fun and improving together. Always a good time :)
