I come here monthly and get the sugaring services done by Lorraine. I never have any complaints. She always does a great job and makes sure I’m satisfied with services before I leave. This was my first time at Shear Luxury Salon & Spa. I have an aversion to being touched but learned about the spa and their services through a small group experience at church. India, my massage therapist, facilitated a group about the importance of massage therapy. She had such a beautiful spirit and was so passionate about this self-care practice that I was compelled to give it a try. I have a stressful life and am committed to self care. My experience was amazing. India took time to gain an understanding of my needs and build rapport prior to the session. She was kind, patient, and explained the process in detail. The atmosphere in the room was relaxing and inviting. I had no issues because India made the me feel comfortable and continued to check to ensure that there was no anxiety. I will definitely use these services again.
Velvet is the best when it comes to waxing! I live all the way in Newport News and drive all the way to Chesapeake because I refuse to go to anyone else for my sugar Brazilian wax. She goes above and beyond for her customers and she always makes sure that she is keeping your discomfort to a minimum. The atmosphere is always calming and the result is always perfect. You will not be disappointed!
