While visiting Montreal, I had the pleasure of stopping by Jardin Jasmin, and it quickly became one of the highlights of my trip. The variety and quality of plants they offer are outstanding. Everything from perennials and fruit trees to bonsai and decorative garden items. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about gardening. I received excellent advice and left feeling inspired with new ideas for my own jardin at home. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced gardener, I highly recommend Jardin Jasmin to anyone looking to improve their outdoor space. This place is awesome! Called ahead and they told me they’d have a few Kanzan cherry saplings in early May. Showed up, and boom – they actually had them! Super rare find, and way cheaper than I thought. Ended up grabbing five! Staff were the best part – super friendly and actually knew their stuff about plants (not just trying to sell stuff). They even gave me tips on keeping these plants alive. Delivery was fast too. The market itself is HUGE and packed with cool plants. If you’re into gardening or just want something pretty for your yard, go here. 10/10 recommend!
It’s the end of the season and they still somehow have everything. Wandering their space is like wandering around in an arboretum. I spent hours there and could have spent more, and more money. Every plant imaginable. Every pot imaginable. Every piece of gear imaginable. This is a plant person’s dream. Surprise your plant lover with a visit and they’ll be very happy.
This place is a powerhouse, particularly if you’re looking for trees, berries, shrubs, that sort of thing. You may find that the annuals and perennials are a bit more sparse at certain times of the year—I just went by in late May and they’re probably recovering from the big spring rush—but there are always gorgeous options available when it comes to stuff with bark.
