I had an excellent experience learning with David’s driving classes. His teaching style is structured, patient, and highly detailed. He not only covers the essential skills for passing the test but also ensures that you understand the finer points of safe and confident driving. David’s guidance on the Edinburgh Currie route was particularly valuable, as he highlighted common areas where learners make mistakes and provided practical strategies to avoid them. His lessons on speed control, the mirror-signal-manoeuvre technique, and manoeuvres were clear and precise. He often explained why other learners fail certain elements, which made his training even more effective. In addition, his YouTube videos are an excellent resource for revision and further learning outside of lessons. David is highly organised and disciplined, making every session productive and focused. Thanks to his excellent training, I was able to clear my driving test on the very first attempt. Having had a bad experience with my previous driving instructor and wasting money and close to a year I was in desperate need of a new instructor. A few random searches across facebook and I found david. At first I was a little skeptical coz you can never trust facebook/social media. Fast forward a few months later with a couple of sample drives , learning ,unlearning , relearning social media gave me one of the best instructors I could have had 😀. David has been a lovely guide and has been very patient guiding me with both the rights and wrongs. He would go through and correct me even if it meant doing the same thing multiple times. He would make sure you know the rules well and are capable of driving independently. He is very professional, keeps you engaged, builds a comfortable environment and a safe space for you to drive which is very important coz if your instructor isn't your freind the lessons won't be ur friend either. David gets you going from the first day and does not beat around the bush which is highly appreciated. Having driven in india all my life this was a different learning experience. David's experience as an instructor is truly valuable and and so is his sense of humour. His lessons truly are worth every penny spent. Unlike other instructors his lessons dont last for ages each day but only last as long as you can concentrate which is a very efficient way of teaching. David gave me the confidence that I could drive on uk roads with the right amount of safety and precaution. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and any new/experienced learners. Thanks for all ur hard work, patience , laughs , routines and lessons david. Also thank you for handing out a few tricks out of your driving/instructor handbook that il surely remember.
