⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding dojo that goes far beyond teaching martial arts techniques! My son has been training here for a month and the transformation has been incredible. The instructors don’t just focus on kicks, punches, and forms - they emphasize the core values that make martial arts truly meaningful. What sets this place apart is their commitment to developing the whole child. My son had developed a genuine sense of gratitude - appreciating his training, practice and responsibility. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about mentoring young people. They create an environment where kids feel challenged but supported, building both physical skills and character. If you’re looking for a martial arts school that will help your child grow into a respectful, disciplined, and grateful young person while learning valuable self-defense skills, I cannot recommend this dojo highly enough. It’s been one of the best investments we’ve made in our child’s development. Highly recommend to any parent looking for more than just a martial arts class!
Our sons have been attending PMA for a few months now. Master Parker and Master Talon create a welcoming space for the kids and their parents. They remember every kids name from the very first lesson on which we are finding very impressive! They manage to keep the kiddos engaged throughout the class and that happens in a very calm and respectful manner. The classes are super fun and the kids learn how to use and improve basic body mechanics. Thanks for everything!
My son started attending classes last winter and we absolutely adore coming to this school. Masters Parker and Talon know EVERY student by name and take the time to greet them (and families) as soon as they walk in. Students are treated with respect and held to a high standard. As an educator, it is a breath of fresh air to see young students held accountable as well as watch many of them rise to the occasion. The weekly challenges are amazing and my young son is excited and will complete each task independently. As a mom of a highly energetic and strong willed kid, I could not recommend PMA Wash Park enough to other families!
Mr. Parker is great a martial art instructor. My son has been going here for almost a year. Mr. Parker has great knowledge of martial art skills and interacts with his students very well. Also, Master Talon is great. He is always helpful and looking after his students. Such a pleasure to have the two of them teaching the classes. Besides teaching martial arts to his students, Mr. Parker also teaches his students self defense, focus, self discipline, confidence, and to respect others and appreciate what they have. I recommend this place for any kids who are looking for a place to learn martial arts, important life skills, and just having fun!
