My first experience at Prime + Proper was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The hostess was wonderful, the waitstaff was attentive and kind, and the overall energy and ambiance were elevated yet inviting. The food was outstanding beautifully prepared and full of flavor. What truly stood out was the customer service. I felt seen, appreciated, and fully catered to throughout the evening. This was more than just a meal it was a beautiful experience. A true 10 out of 10. Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I will definitely be coming back!

Prime + Proper deserves every bit of its reputation. We dined in the dining room and the whole experience felt polished from start to finish—great energy, upscale vibe, and a team that runs service with precision. The food is the star. The steaks came out with a beautiful crust and a perfect medium-rare center, packed with flavor (the bone-in cut was especially memorable). The roasted bone + herb relish starter with grilled bread and citrus was bold, decadent, and ideal for sharing. Sides were excellent too—the creamy baked mac & cheese is pure comfort, the crispy potatoes were addictive, and the Brussels sprouts dish was bright and well-balanced. If you’re looking for a top-tier Detroit steakhouse for a date night or celebration, this is it. Expensive, but the quality and execution make it worth it.

I highly recommend Prime + Proper! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and both the cocktails and appetizers were excellent. We ordered the porterhouse steak and the fried chicken. Each dish was absolutely delicious. A big shout‑out to our server, Ryan, and the other gentleman who took great care of us. We’ll definitely be coming back again.

Always an amazing experience. Dropped in for a quick bite well on break from work. Super friendly staff. Quick service. Sat at the bar to enjoy this amazing meal. There are only 10 burgers available every night so glad I was able to get one. Love that everyone is treated equal as I was in a safety vest for work when I got there. Also wonderful that they had the lions game on at the bar. Grabbed a treat to take home to the wife and everyone at work was jealous when I walked in with that signature To go bag.
