Been a member at PFRX for a little over one year and it has been fantastic. Super high tech gym that has helped me lose over 50 pounds in the last year. The EGYM machines in particular are very intuitive and perfect for a beginner at the gym like myself. The manager Brandon is also incredibly helpful and encouraging, which was very helpful for someone inexperienced with the gym like myself. Could not recommend this place enough.
DO NOT SIGN UP HERE! Wish it can get ZERO. Gym is beautiful & well kept. Wish the people who trained there took care of it. Brandon was amazing. Outside of the constant harassment I dealt with from people who are not use to training with certain humans I enjoyed the space. The owner isn’t a nice woman at all. Disregarded my messages and never asked me how I felt about the harassment taking place. Instead canceled my membership after false allegations.
Honestly the best gym in New Orleans! Brandon, the manager is so nice and understanding and such a great person. Sacha, the owner, is super communicative and amazing. The gym is very high tech and is always really clean and feels super luxurious. And it's a 24 hour gym! All in all, I couldn't recommend a better gym.
BEST GYM EVER!!! Almost 2 years that I have been a member and I am still LOVING IT! Serene atmosphere and clean environment. Plus Brandon, the manager is amazing, always addressing any concerns promptly :) Thank you Team PFRX for this WONDERFUL GYM! :)
Great view! Also, enjoy the atmosphere and the sauna. So far so good. Edit: ended my membership. Sauna was rarely ever on, so by the time it was hot, I usually had to leave. Couldn’t call ahead because no one would answer the phone. The single wrist band to get in is incredibly inconvenient. If you forget it, you’re screwed. Parking is also inconvenient. I would consistently see the male worker in the women’s locker room, restocking towels or doing whatever else. He would enter through the back of the sauna room. My issue was more with the fact that there was no notice, not on the door or anywhere. Happened several times. Nice guy but that doesn’t make the situation better. Cancelled my membership after several occurrences. Didn’t even get refunded for May (cancelled in the beginning of it) because I did not feel comfortable going anymore. I’m disappointed. Even $10 a month planet fitness has signs when there’s a male/female worker in the locker rooms. At over $100 a month per person…you’d think making a door sign wouldn’t be an issue.
