Okay, the fact that I’m just now reviewing my weekly hangout spot is wild. Pure Pawsh is truly one of a kind, and I hope it never leaves. It’s more than a bar, doggy day care, or a pet shop — it’s a full-on community hub that supports some of the best local rescues. The staff is so fun and chill that every visit feels like catching up with friends. Yes, San Diego has plenty of dog‑friendly bars, but this is a dog place. The bar is literally made for dogs. Your pups can be off‑leash, mingle, and even enjoy their own brew and snacks right alongside you. My partner and our dog Enzo are here weekly, sipping on a bevy, watching sports, and of course, petting dogs. I leave with a serotonin boost every single time from being around so many happy pups and their people. And lastly — Ashley, the owner, is awesome. She created a dream space I didn’t even know we needed in our community. We love it here, and so does our pup Enzo, who loves trotting in like he owns the place and giving the staff his signature tail‑wag welcome.
First haircut with my pups was pretty good for 1/2 of the pups. One looked beautiful the other looked a little wild but maybe its just her face. (pics below). They were soft and fluffy! The second time wasn’t as thorough (no pics available). Might try again! The employees are super kind and the atmosphere is really nice!
Took our golden retriever Cooper in for grooming and Samantha did a marvelous job with him! She was intentional with asking our preferences and made Cooper feel at ease. She radiates joy and I look forward to returning to Pure Pawsh! Cooper says thank you for the special PBJ treats!
Kim chi and I had our brunch date here today and I loved everything about it. Everyone was super nice. Even the people around us were very kind. Really good and fun environment to be in. They have multiple events coming up and we are excited to check it out. We were in a food coma all day lol. Thank you so much for an amazing day and great hospitality. My other fur kids will have a blast I am sure! Did I mention they had mimosas? Yum!
Pure Pawsh is hands-down one of the most fun and unique spots I've ever visited! I first went to their puppy sound healing class, and it was absolutely amazing -- adorable pups everywhere and such a positive, relaxing vibe. They really know how to create experiences that make you smile! My friends & I also attended their Halloween trivia night and costume contest, which was a total blast. The trivia was challenging but fun, the costumes were so creative, and the energy in the room was incredible. It was the perfect way to get into the spooky spirit! Most recently, I went to their Pomeranian meetup, and it was everything a dog lover could hope for! So many cute, fluffy Poms running around, and it was such a great way to connect with other pet owners. Pure Pawsh is not just a place -- it's a community that celebrates dogs and brings people together. I can't wait to see what events they host next because every single one has been unforgettable. Highly recommend checking them out!
