We contacted this shop for a phone screen repair after our screen went blank. They offered us two options: an OEM screen or a cheaper one. We chose the OEM option for $350. The phone only worked for about two weeks before the screen went blank again, so we called them. Under warranty, they replaced the screen, but as soon as we left the shop, the phone kept turning on and off. We told them about the issue, and they said we could bring it back so they could “fix it in the lab.” However, we noticed the replacement screen looked low quality—nothing like the OEM screen we originally paid for. We decided to take the phone to a different repair shop, and when they opened it, they found that the previous shop had installed a cheap Chinese screen, not an OEM screen as promised. Because of that incorrect part, the phone suffered even more damage and stopped recognizing the screen entirely. I would not trust this place with any device. This was my first and last experience with them, and I hope no one else goes through the same thing. We are requesting a refund because they installed fake parts from the beginning, which caused the phone to break down even more. The attached picture shows the Chinese screen they installed (an iPhone 16 Pro Max model). I’ve also attached another photo showing what a real OEM screen looks like for comparison, so others can avoid this situation.
