Fast, friendly, and thorough service! My car looks amazing every time I come here. The staff is awesome and always makes the experience easy. Highly recommend!
Car wash service seems pretty good and thorough. However, website has false advertising as it claims free vacuums. Vacuums require a minimum of five dollars to use separate from the car wash. By definition, not free.
Pros: This is great for a quick drive thru wash with a deal on the membership. Know that you have to detail dry your car after. Cons: They always run out of towels and they charge $5 for the vac when many of their own places are free. The tire shine solution runs out often leaving one side shiny while the other side is clean but matte
Pretty cool spot and reasonable prices. Staff was attentive and courtesy our experience was fast but if I had to pick a slight wrinkle would be the cars are too close together when vacuuming and having to exit between the white lanes. Thanks!
So I'm going to pro and con this review. However, I'm highly disappointed with whoever owns this place and their reasoning in below or prior comments excusing their business practices. Basically, highway robbery disguised as "market factors." I had the opportunity while working out of state for a few months to use a competitor (tidal wave), thus the basis of comparison. PRO: 1. This carwash does a phenomenonal job getting the truck clean. I'm highly highly impressed. 2. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Appreciate this. CONS: 1. This location is sandwhiched onto a very small lot that creates headaches for entry/exit and access to post wash services (vaccums, hand towels, etc). Was there on a Saturday afternoon around 2:30 PM. People were double parked either in the exit lane or along the curb, waiting for space to open up at the vaccums after their carwash. It makes it difficult to get into the carwash line, very congested. Usually, there is better traffic flow into these places, and the area for servicing your car after the wash is not sharing space with cars entering for a wash. 2. Paying for a monthly membership that can be close to $50 for premium wash. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY $5 extra for the pleasure of using the VACUUMS and compressed air. This should be all inclusive in the monthly fee. It is at Tidal Wave. What they don't tell you is that at this location, it's car wash only. Anything else is going to cost you. That's just scummy. 3. Want to cancel your membership. They add a $5 charge just for the pleasure of you canceling. This is not disclosed up front. Only after you join is this made public. Again, scummy and digging into your pocket book more. Basically, whoever operates this place is a thief. 4. I alluded to this earlier about the traffic. Once you're done with the car wash and wipping your vehicle down and attempt to leave, give yourself time and be patient. Trying to pull out of a stall or get turned around to leave out the exit lane can be a challenge. Again, cars either parked in the exit lane waiting for a spot at the vaccums to open up, cars in a long line backed up onto the street waiting to enter blocks the ability to get out of the stall. It's a zoo. 5. Stopped by on a Monday afternoon just after 4 PM. The place was closed. Had orange cones out blocking the driveway. Granted, may have been servicing equipment, but if so, can't this be coordinated a little better. Closing: I really really like how great the carwash is, but I just can not get past these other factors. Also, why is it okay to screw us on the peninsula when East Bay folks have a much better experience of service. Am i to believe economic factors are somehow that drastically different 15 - 20 miles away? Not hardly...
