I am going to give this gym a very honest and fair review. Mostly because most of the reviews below are fake. The place is clean in most areas, the bags and equipment are of good quality and the garage doors allow for good ventilation. They even have a water fountain, gosh darn am I ever gonna miss that water fountain. HOWEVER, few key problems with this place, especially if you’re an actual fighter or someone looking to become one. The gym is all about price pyramids for selling very over priced classes. The whole gym is operated by a group of girls most of which have never boxed. The trainers all wear masks which I find annoying because it’s like cmon, it’s a boxing gym and if contact sports is too germy for you then you’re in the wrong place. Take my word for it if you want, I’ve boxed and competed for many years and been to many gyms across Canada. Every legit boxing gym will have regular evening sparring throughout the week that other people can watch and feel motivated by. They have hardly any sparring at all! If you ask about sparring it’s all like “Take our 5 step program blah blah blah” which you have to pay for. The competitive sparring classes are next to none and seems like only 3 people sign up so hardly anyone. THATS BECAUSE NOBODY HERE CAN BOX! This can all be confirmed on their website on the schedule. It’s basically just a kitty kat club that makes you feel good and takes your money for classes. Everything has to be done through their silly app you have to download, but then still they ask you to manually sign in on arrival. It’s just little annoying stuff like this adds up. One time the trainer wouldn’t let me use the boxing timer because it upset her dog. Like cmon people. This place is a joke and does not create fighters. Anyways, end of review. Edit/Reply: Did you make your response using ChatGPT? None of the fighters on the Amateur Canadian National Team are from BC except Dalis Gures who I’ve met and has never associated or fought from your gym, he trains out of Quebec like most elite fighters in Canada. Both the men’s and female pro Canadian lightweight champions are not from BC nor do you have any “world class” fighters. Why would you make such a verifiable lie? You really have no idea who you’re talking to. This just further shows how fake you guys are which I explained above. Thats why you wouldn’t post these fighters’ names. So so sad. You guys are nothing but a cash grab.
Love this gym so much. Been training here for about a year and this gym is by far the best gym in Vancouver for technique and community. Each coach really focuses on the fundamentals of each individual and pushes you at a great pace. Very happy I moved to this gym
Best gym I’ve ever been a part of. The community is incredibly welcoming, and everyone there is driven to grow—both mentally and physically. The coaches are top-notch, and the programming is next level: well-structured, purposeful, and challenging. The gym itself is run with care and intention. Plus, when the gate’s up, you get amazing views that make training even better. Highly recommend to anyone serious about leveling up!
Just found my second home. About a month into training at this club, and I'm already hooked. I split my time between the East Van and PoCo locations — both have fantastic atmospheres and welcoming vibes. Boxing is a huge passion of mine. I train 5–6 days a week for about 2 hours each session, and this gym truly delivers. I’m excited about my potential of competing (and possibly even coaching) under the influence of this club. Jon, in particular, stands out as an exceptional coach. His attention to detail is unmatched, making sure every drill is done right and that you’re always putting in the work. The other coaches have also been great so far — some are active competitors themselves, so you’re definitely going to be pushed to your limits. The gym offers some really nice perks — new member bingo, trial bonuses when you sign up, two helpful apps (one for class bookings and one for accessing their workbook), and a solid variety of bags and equipment. I’ve also been building friendships with other members — there’s a great sense of community here. Plus, there are a lot of strong amateurs and pros training at this gym, which is super motivating. All in all, this is hands down the best boxing gym I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, inclusive, and high-level training environment — whether you're just starting out or aiming to become a competitive boxer.
Training at quinit is amazing for beginners to top level amateurs, great coaches, environment and equipment. As someone who came just for a training camp, I was impressed with the organization of the gym, very easy to make new friends too
