Popped into the store to look around. We were inside for less than five minutes before we were essentially asked what we wanted and were made to feel incredibly unwelcome. Very rude staff. Would give zero stars if I could.
Thank you Christian(Owner) for accommodating our family. We truly enjoyed our time in your gallery. Thank you also for inviting us to meet Jod. It was really a privilege to speak with a very talented artist. You guys made our trip to Quebec City a memorable one. We will definitely be back for more artwork!
We visited this store to just look and found the owner to be very rude to our family - especially to our young children. Our youngest child accidentally knocked over a child’s giraffe measuring board and although nothing was broken, the owner made it clear that we were not welcome and gave us the impression that children especially are not welcome (even the store sells children’s toys). It was as though we were treated as “bulls in a china shop” and we have never been treated like that by any business. When our family went over to a different space in the building that was part of the store, the owner hurried over and muttered in French “not again,” told us to “get out” in English, and quickly kicked our family out of the second space and slammed the door. We have never been treated so rudely by a business owner and if a zero-star rating could be given for how we were treated, we would. No potential customers should be treated poorly because they have small children or because they are visiting the area.
I was in the city this past wknd 9/11/22 and decided to visit this neat little shop. So glad I did. I bought a small pillar lamp. I picked the colors and it was hand made in minutes. Brought it home to NH and all my friends now want one of their own design! Bravo Rare & Different! Much thanks to the kind lady that made it
I was on vacation this weekend and saw the store, i immediately fell in love with the fixtures design and decided to buy a lamp. The service was great and the lamp feels sturdy and so far works great and looks even greater. If you ever need something Rare & Different and in need of originality in your interior decoration go to this shop. A+++
