As the mother of the bride, I cannot say enough about the incredible team that brought my daughter’s dream wedding to life — Karen Nichols, the owner of the planning company, and her amazing assistant Kyra. We also worked early on with Kirsten and Maddie, both fabulous too! From start to finish, they were warm, professional, organized, and absolutely unflappable — even when the unexpected happened. Originally, we had planned a beautiful lakeside wedding at the Grand Hyatt in Incline Village, Lake Tahoe. But just a few months out, we were hit with the shocking news that the venue had to cancel. What could have been a nightmare situation turned into a seamless pivot, thanks entirely to Karen. Our rock. Red Carpet Events quickly shifted gears with grace and efficiency, helping us reimagine the entire wedding weekend in San Jose. What could have felt like a disappointing change ended up being an absolute dream. Karen and Kyra guided us through every detail — from the elegant church ceremony to a stunning hotel reception that truly captured our family's style. And it didn’t stop there. They helped orchestrate an unforgettable rehearsal dinner and a rooftop welcome party at Hotel Valencia on Santana Row — the perfect mix of urban chic and heartfelt celebration. Throughout it all, Karen and Kyra were calm, reassuring, and consistently a step ahead. Their presence instilled such confidence in us that we were able to completely relax and simply enjoy the weekend. And as any parent knows, being able to soak in every joyful moment without stress is the greatest gift you can be given during such a major life event. Our guests were wowed. Every detail was thoughtful, polished, and personal. I truly believe we could not have done this without Karen and Kyra. They were not just planners — they were partners, advocates, and creative problem-solvers who made magic happen. And they are definitely people we would love to sit down to a meal with. Meaning, they felt like friends thru most of the process... very organized friends. Such a joy! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping give my daughter and son-in-law the wedding of their dreams — and giving all of us memories we will cherish forever.

We initially hired Red Carpet to provide drapery and ceiling swag for our wedding, and later chose to also use them for our chargers and napkins. From the beginning the team's communication was amazing, and they continually put my mind at ease during the wedding planning process. I got married this past August at PJ's at Gray's Crossing in Truckee and I wanted a few things to rent that didn't look like it was from every other wedding. I am so glad that I found Red Carpet! They had exactly the kind of style I was looking for and everyone I spoke to there was so incredibly friendly and easy to work with. Right away I told them my vision and they recommended two mustard chairs to pair with their sweetheart table. (These chairs were SO comfy to sit on!) Another item I rented was a boho type rug to go under the arch for the ceremony. Everything tied in so well with the other decor items I brought, it couldn't have been a better fit!
