We were disappointed with our experience at Red Door Escape Room. The rooms were very dark, and at least one more flashlight or lantern would have helped a lot. The first room had good puzzles that required teamwork, but the next room was very small and felt crowded. A cabinet door didn’t pop open as it should have, which stalled our progress, and it took multiple presses of the hint button before the game master responded. We’ve done many escape rooms, and between the setup issues and lack of support, this one felt more frustrating than fun. We won’t be returning.
We have done this escape room location before and really enjoyed it. We did still enjoy this time but I seemed like the game master was maybe a little distracted or was working multiple rooms. It was a little frustrating that some of our hints were things we had already done and then when we needed our flashlights for a point in the room 1 of 3 were completely dead. We waved and waved at the camera multiple times but nothing. Finally we just had to use our phone. When we escaped we brought it up to him and he admitted he never saw us on the camera. And a flashlight had just died in a another room to. We do still enjoy this place. But had to waste time trying to get a piece of the puzzle we needed. If we didn't keep 1 of our phones in there we couldn't have done it
Awesome fun time! I had never done an escape room before, but my small group completed the "once upon a time" themed room and they had some really awesome puzzles! Very creative and brings you a little "escape" from reality with the world it places you in. The staff was very positive and excited for us, while giving us helpful hints when we were stuck.
I have never been to a place like this before, so I had no idea what to expect. We had so much fun!! All the kids keep asking is "when can we go try a new room?". We will definitely be back!
5 stars for excellent customer service! I walked in just to get information for my teen and friends. The associate was friendly and answered all my questions about booking, timing, prices... She also took me on a quick tour through all escape-rooms. It was well organized and clean. .... will update my post after a escape-room group session...
