I would like to thank Lloyd and Red Dragons for showing what leadership, strength, coordination, and balance means for my 4 year old son! I would recommend Red Dragons to any parents who want to build their children's self esteem. Don't hesitate. Although my 4 year old son initially struggled, he is doing so much better and Lloyd and his team really provided that crucial foundation that every 4-5year old needs.
Just the most wonderful experience for my six year old. The first activity she's actually looked forward to and we've seen a transformation in her confidence, too. It's been lovely to watch. Sensei Lloyd is such an awesome instructor. He's fun, but focused. Warm, but controlled. They learn martial arts - but also, listening, respect, control, balance, and resilience. I am constantly impressed with how he fits it all in, still has the kids smiling, and keeps an eye out on anyone who might need extra support. Really couldn't rate it higher.
Red Dragons has been incredible for my 7 year old son. It has brought him strength, discipline, confidence, friends and we all feel like we have been welcomed into a family. Sensei Lloyd is so good at treating the children with respect, and therefore receiving respect in return, all whilst empowering them, making sessions fun and making each child feel seen, heard and to have a place. They become empowered by it and that is so powerful in itself. I really cannot recommend Red Dragons enough.
My now eight-year-old son joined Red Dragons a year and a half ago, and the progress he has made during this time has been remarkable. His strength, coordination and balance have improved significantly, and it has been rewarding to observe his increased confidence and enthusiasm for physical activity. Sensei Lloyd demonstrates an excellent ability to engage with the children, maintaining their focus whilst ensuring the classes remain enjoyable. Each session incorporates elements of humour, creating an environment that is both supportive and disciplined. We walk out of every session feeling upbeat, motivated and ready to take on the week. Red Dragons has been fantastic for him.
My youngest boys go to Red Dragons and they really get so much out of it. Sessions are inclusive, disciplined, supportive and enjoyable. Lloyd (and his co-instructors) foster a respectful environment where every participant is encouraged to reach their full potential. Helping each other, listening skills and “doing the difficult thing” are taught and reinforced. These are not just martial arts lessons - these are lessons for life! It is a joy to watch Lloyd teach - a true master of the profession. To be able to deliver all this in a kind and fun environment is incredible. Join if you can!
