They’re sweet and good natured, and I think they genuinely want to help, but I’ve had to do 100% of the leg work with my insurance company to set up, renew, and maintain my commercial transportation for hire/livery policy. Every interaction with Red Gorman, though pleasant and cordial, has been a completely fruitless waste of my time, resulting in me soending lots of time fielding calls and emails directly with my insurer. This is all fine, I guess. I’m okay with being a DIY’er sometimes. The rub is that I found them because they come up as the top search result if you Google livery insurance in Dallas. It’s also mentioned on their website. I assumed that meant that they had experience and knowledge about this particular type of insurance for the heavily regulated transportation for hire industry. This is unfortunately not the case. They seem to be completely ignorant and blissfully unaware of how this kind of insurance for limos and taxis works in Dallas. At the end of the day, if I have to DIY it, fine. Im a big boy and can manage my own company’s affairs. It’s all good. But the fact that Red Gorman gets a commission on my insurance in perpetuity for doing absolutely nothing for me is ridiculous.
Hands down, best experience when shopping for insurance! The agent that helped me get my policy was not only kind and professional, she was informative and patient with all my questions. I appreciate the fact that she searched for the best rate for me, thanks again Desiree Garcia! 10/10 will recommend my family & friends
