I came to Reno from out of state to help a friend who was in the hospital receiving chemotherapy for cancer. He had been so ill he hadn't been able to clean his home for over a month. John came in and did an amazing job. He introduced himself and I told him the story and he was very compassionate and professional. The house was filled with so much dust and hadn't had a deep clean in several years. He understood the problem and he focused on the most important areas first. The price had been set beforehand and when I believed we were done he insisted on staying another hour and finishing up some last minute items. He even helped me change the air filter. He was truly an angel in a time when I needed one. I just wish he lived in the same town as I do so I could hire him on a regular basis!
This company went above and beyond, after another cleaner canceled my appointment last minute, I was frantically trying to find another cleaner before my move out. Thats when I came across Reno City Cleaning. They were quick to respond and were able to squeeze me in on a last minute notice. They showed up on time and reviewed with me all the services to be completed. After the clean was completed I reviewed the work and noticed a couple items were missed. I addressed it with them and they responded immediately and did everything they could to make it right. This level of customer service is something that’s missing from a lot of companies but what I received from Reno City Cleaning was clear and communicative. I recommend them to anyone in need of home cleaning services as they take care and pride in their work.
They did a great job, I needed help with my ceiling fans and don’t trust my balance on a ladder, they look amazing! My bathrooms needed a deep clean and they got the job done!
Reno City Cleaning did an amazing job! They were professional, punctual, and left everything spotless. My home has never looked better. I highly recommend them if you're looking for top-notch cleaning service!
Don’t use this place unless you want to spend a lot of money for no cleaning. We paid them almost 400$ for a detailed move out clean with the addition of the fridge and the oven. There were 55 things that they said they would do and they questionably did 11. We hired a professional because we had lived in the place for a while and it was dirty, we needed help. They did not do any surface , doorknob, light switch, fan, window, or wall in the house. They didn’t even sweep and mop with the exception of one closet which they left the dirt pile in. I’ll include pictures of AFTER the clean, everything pictured was on the list. I will also include the list with what they actually did highlighted. Their solution was to give us a discount. They offered to send someone out to fix it but it was a move out clean so we don’t have keys anymore. Ultimately we paid them hundreds of dollars to be charged cleaning out of our security deposit anyway. We needed someone who knew what they were doing as advertised, that is not what we got. Very frustrating and expensive. Reply to claim from owner: He is again saying he tried to send someone out again to clean the next day even though WE DID NOT HAVE KEYS ANYMORE. He is trying to report the review so you can’t see what a poor job they did. He did give us a discount after arguing with him for close to 12 hours but it was not a “50%” discount as he claims. His denial is SO unprofessional. To his claim that we said she did a good job, we did but only immediately after walking in before we looked at the place because we looked at the oven. We were not present for the whole clean only for about 10 minutes at the end of it an hour and a half after they had told us she left our home (and was still there). This guy is a bully who probably only has good reviews because he reports the bad ones so they don’t show up. There is no way his cleaner was factually there for 7 hours, she did the baseboards the fridge and the oven. That is it. If that took her 7 hours she should not be a house cleaner. Everything else we had on the list highlighted is because we did those things first before she got there and couldn’t prove she didn’t do them. He is also bullying us about the condition of our home in his reply. We have pets yes but “strong pet odors” is mean and not factual. Before his cleaner got there we swept and mopped some rooms and shampooed and vacuumed all the carpets. We needed help with the other stuff that is why we hired them. He refuses to acknowledge that his cleaner did a terrible job and doesn’t want these photos to represent him even though they represent the work that they did not do that we paid for. To his claim that we “tried to scam him” we asked for a refund because his service was terrible and as you can see from his reply his customer service is terrible also. We are no longer pursuing him financially only trying to spread awareness so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
