Reserve Wines is one of my favourite spots in Manchester and I’m always recommending it to friends and family! The building is beautiful and provides the perfect atmosphere for all occasions. The staff are amazing and will always spare a moment to give recommendations and make wine more accessible when it came seem so daunting. Special shoutout to Josh for our lovely chat, thanks to him I’ve found my new favourite wine!
I come to Reserve Wines here at the Mackie Mayor every Friday, Emily and the lovely team are brilliant, I’m always welcomed with a smile,, I stumbled upon this place about seven years ago when I was walking past the building and saw people through the window sat down eating through through the window so I walked in and it was like Dr Who’s Tardis. I always try to thank them for their service with some chocolate or cookies every time I go in. I had anxiety issues before and during lockdown, so now I call this place my Mancunia medicine.
Absolutely loved this place! Reserve Wines is a real gem and the setting inside Mackie Mayor is just brilliant. Such a cool building with great vibes all around. Emily deserves a special shout out. She was super friendly and her wine recommendations were absolutely spot on. She really made my evening. Can’t wait to go back!
Lovely experience. First proper visit here. Bottle of fine red burgundy much enjoyed and the team member helping us gave really helpful advice between the 2 vintages on offer. Super relaxed environment with a great informal old market vibe. I intend to become a regular, particularly as it’s dog friendly too apparently! Bravo.
08/11/22: Reserve Wines, situated in Mackie Mayor. Holds wine tasting evenings and events. Serves Keg, White, Rosé, Red & Special Wines. They could definitely secure more non-wine drinkers by getting some Orange Wine. Great over ice, apperatif, sweet, orange flavoured, not strictly a typical wine.
