Riley’s is one of my favourite dining experiences in the city! From my first visit 2 years ago when I arrived bedraggled off a long haul flight to find the service warm and inviting with delightful food to today when I took part in their 2026 Dine Out menu. From the minute you walk in the door you are made to feel like a deeply cared for guest. The food is amazing, always perfectly cooked and the service is even better. Today our server, Mickey, made sure everything was perfect for an end of the week meal for two colleagues and friends. He was attentive, kind and accommodating for our likes, dislikes and needs. Another server in the dining room made sure our bags never touched the floor and our water glasses were always full. Typically I always want to try new places and new menus but I always come back to Riley’s. There is a little magic in the air there.
If my out of town friends or family ever wanted a restaurant recommendation that radiates the spirit of Vancouver, Riley's Fish and Steak is it! A beautiful restaurant inside and out. We came with friends to try their $65 Dine Out Vancouver menu with a $30 wine pairing. Each of the dishes in this menu were well executed with good ingredients, tasted flavourful, and matched well with the recommended wine pairings. It was a busy Friday night and we could see many of the restaurant staff moving swiftly with a smile. We could also see and hear the many patrons in our dining area having a good time. We appreciated our server Luis and his efforts and kind demeanor. And we also appreciated the restaurant manager Tim for his cordial words. We have been to all the other fine restaurants in the Glowbal Restaurant Group. We look forward to trying Riley's "à la carte" menu with friends in the near future.
I haven’t been to Riley’s in over a year because I was never wowed by any of my experiences. This all changed at my most recent visit. We came for my friend’s birthday and I feel like with big groups the service is either a hit or a miss but our evening was a huge hit! Thank you to Tim, Lisa and Alana for the most exceptional service I’ve ever received. They were interactive and attentive which made the night 10x more fun. The food was served at a perfect pace and tasted amazing. The portions were also HUGE! 10/10 recommend this place if you are planning a birthday or event.
We were in a rush to have a quick bite during HYROX at around 5:15pm. We promised to give back the table in 75 mins so we are able to get a table without reservations. The server is very attentive and speed up the kitchen for our dishes. Beef carpaccio with the garlic bread is a nice touch. Shishito peppers portion is generous. Miso sablefish is at par. Lamb rack is quite flavorful. Overall, the dining experience is great even we were in a rush.
Riley’s Fish & Steak is an absolute standout in Vancouver. We made reservations to celebrate a friend’s birthday and arrived early, so we started with drinks at the bar. From the moment we arrived, Oscar and Cecilio went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome and well looked after. Their hospitality was exceptional, and the cocktails were incredible. Once seated, the experience only got better. We shared the King Seafood Tower and ordered the steak frites with truffle fries, and every bite was outstanding. The quality of both the seafood and the steak was truly top-tier. Our server, Stuart, was equally fantastic and delivered impeccable service throughout the meal. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. I would 10/10 recommend Riley’s to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience and will absolutely be back the next time we’re in Vancouver.
