I get supplies here every now and then. But I’m always happy with my purchases. And there right next to a starbucks. You can enjoy a coffee before or after you visit. This decent and unique place is definitely worth visiting especially us locals.
I recently visited Rillito Nursery & Garden City. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of plants they offer—especially for a medium-sized nursery. It’s a well-organized space, and it didn’t take long to find exactly what I was looking for. I ended up buying three trees and also booked their planting service. The crew that came out did an excellent job. They were thoughtful about tree placement, dug out a large area for each tree, added soil amendments, and bermed everything properly to help the trees establish well. What stood out most was the care and attention they gave during the process. Afterward, they walked me through watering guidelines and shared helpful tips on how to keep the trees healthy long-term. You can tell they really know what they’re doing and care about helping things grow successfully. If you're looking for quality plants, solid advice, and reliable service, I definitely recommend checking out Rillito Nursery. I'm really happy with how everything turned out. And, as a bonus they have a purrfect shop cat!
I have been wanting to stop in here for over a year (I live far away), and I finally had the chance to do so a few weeks ago. I was so impressed! They have different sections of plants to browse. It’s the perfect size nursery to walk around. They have many desert adapted plants, a nice pond, cute little trails, good signage, and a cat. How perfect! The customer service was spot on, too. I had questions after my visit and they helped me on Facebook Messenger ID one of the plants they had. I have been telling all of my friends and coworkers about this nursery and I can’t wait to return. Thanks again!
They have a cat. His name is Woody, and he's the best part about visiting here. I often come during my lunch hour (since my office is within walking distance of here) and nothing brightens my days more than walking around and a silly little guy comes up to me while I'm just browsing! Staff are very kind and always willing to help out and give advice, pick out the right gardening stuff and whatnot.
I bought a Beautiful rosebush last week and it is not doing well. I called to get some advice and they were extremely helpful and kind. They gave me advice to help my Rose succeed and do better. I appreciate the willingness to offer advice to their customers. So far I’m not very good at this green thumb thing, but I’m hoping to improve!
