I highly recommend Florenza, the owner of Rooby-Doo Canine Academy in Fresno. She emphasizes the importance of timing and consistency when training a dog, Our puppy got off to a good start staying three weeks with her before we took over. Teaching us, the owners, what we needed to learn to continue the training, Florenza broke down our tasks into small steps and watched, either in person, via a video or on zoom, as we worked to emulate what she had shown us. She is very good about staying in touch and always writes follow-up notes and answers all questions. In addition, she is a very nice person to work with.

Over the years training with florenza she has helped me and my dogs in teaching me how to communicate properly with my dogs as well as create better structure. She is very knowledgeable and helps teach you with your dog so you work as a team. She’s an also a fantastic teacher as well as trainer. Both my dogs jack and Geralt have come so far with me by working with florenza and gaining so much knowledge and skills! You’re truly a special trainer and one of a kind. Due to his size and intimidating appearance, many places were reluctant to take him in, but Florenza and her team welcomed him with open arms. Rooby-Doo has been amazing! I have a working line Malinois that had a huge prey drive! Before training his energy level was out of control and he was extremely reactive! We’ve been training over a year and a half and have learned to turn his drives on and off! My 4 year old niece visited a year ago and with her running around and squealing really put Ares into an extreme prey drive! Which was pretty dangerous if we had not been around. She came and stayed with us for a week this summer and wow what a difference! My niece was able to follow my obedience commands with Ares and he listened! She even got him to go to place with out any prompting from her auntie! Ares has been a completely calm and relaxed Pup around my high drive niece! Florenza along with our commitment to listen and follow through has worked wonders with Ares! We could not have found a better trainer for our fur baby and us! Thank you so much for giving us the proper tools for Ares! They’ve worked wonders! Also for giving me an outlet to learn and improve my handling skills! Rooby-Doo Rocks!!!!

I was at the end of my line with my 2 German Shepherds….until I found Rooby Doo. It’s been a lifesaver for us! Flo showed me how to handle my high energy dog and helped me enjoy my girls again. We’ve been with her for 3 yrs and we’re still learning! It is truly amazing how gifted Flo is with all dogs and making it seem to simple. I don’t know where we’d be without her.
