A very standard Vietnamese restaurant. The pho was very good, the flavor of the broth is standout compared to many of the older South sac establishment (which have gone down in quality dramatically) The meat tasted fresh but the beef rib/bone was wanting in flavor. The bun thicn nuong left me wanting, Pho City and Viet Ha still do it better
I've been here twice and definitely coming back my whole family. Khai is a very nice server. Friendly smiley face. ☺️ The pho broth is top notch. So flavorful and fresh. I got the beef bone pho and the meat just falls off the bone and melt in my mouth. The grilled pork plate was also delicious. The side sauce was yummy. The chicken wings were so crisp and tasty. Chefs kiss.
The staff are very friendly, and the open space has a clean, modern interior. The food is quite good, though not particularly memorable. If you notice a slight gamey or fishy taste in the meat, I recommend asking for some cilantro to add. Perhaps because I recently found an excellent banh mi place, I wouldn’t recommend the banh mi here.
My mom and I finally came after weeks of seeing the "Grand Opening" banner. We're so glad we did and wish we came sooner! Saigon Kitchen Express offers delicious appetizers, bahn mi, soup, vermicelli bowls and rice plates at very reasonable prices. I hear their smoothies are also delicious - however we did not try them during this visit. My mom ordered the grilled pork vermicelli bowl($12.50) and I ordered the large spicy beef noodle soup ($15) (Check out the photos attached!) Both portions were ample and left us feeling very satisfied. We also shared a spring roll appetizer - nice and crispy. The staff here are very earnest and friendly. It's clear that they care a lot about this restaurant and want it to succeed. They offered great recommendations 👌 If you're in the area then please give Saigon Kitchen Express a try. We plan to return to try the bahn mi next! :)
I am a food critic and after having an outstanding dining experience here today at Saigon Kitchen Express with amazing customer service from their firendly and warm staff, I am giving them a 9.5 out of 10 overall score. The food is amazing.. the quality is superior. The price is right on the money, I was super shocked to see the special house pho with beef ribs at only $15. The eggrolls were so yummy. The appetizers ooh lala yummy to the tummy. Judge for yourself and come support this place. The ambience, spacious real estate, and modern looks will astound every customers. Best of all is their friendly and hospitable staff. Their cuisine is delicious.
