Captain Rory Rorison put us on the fish when the bait touched the water. If he didn’t like the fishing at the spots we were at he find a better spot. A total of 6-7 different species caught on the trip. Me and the wife had a great trip with Captain Rory at the helm.

I had the opportunity to take my wife and three boys out with Captain Rory for some fishing while we were vacationing in New Orleans. We all had a great day and caught some great fish. Six of us went out with Captain Eric yesterday and had an awesome time. We caught 24 fish in ~2 hours and toured around the area on the boat for awhile. Captain Eric was great and provided everything we needed to catch some fish. Captain Eric cleaned our fish for us and we dropped it off at GW Fins for dinner later that night. I would highly recommend taking your fish to GW Fins and having them prepare it for you. Incredible meal and awesome restaurant down in the French Quarter.

Captain Rory was amazing to work and fish with. He was super responsive via text and phone before our fishing day arrived, answering all my questions quickly and completely. Fast-forward to the day of fishing, we were excited to hit the water and Rory put us on the fish. The first marsh spot we tried was a little slow, Captain gave it his best shot then took us to spot #2. We ended up getting a bite every cast and catching a massive amount of redfish. We would have limited out in less than an hour if we were keeping fish that day. Not only did he put us on the redfish, we also caught 7 different species from the same spot, using the same bait. This trip definitely lived up to expectations and we got to check off some new species. Thanks again Rory for the amazing experience, I highly recommend anyone interested in marsh fishing to check out Captain Rory!
