I have done take out from Salvatore’s from a different location but we decided to go downtown Madison in person . Came in with a group of 7 friends over the holidays and had a really good experience. Salvatore’s maintains a staple menu of pizzas with the occasional rotating seasonal flavors . They offer two sizes a 10” and a 16”. They also have gluten free crusts in 10” as well . The ten inch is perfect for one person . Our server was great and explained the menu to the group along with all the various cocktails . Little did I know but they have a full bar with numerous cocktails all of which were great including the two versions of old fashioned they offered . We got Sal’s supreme , figgy piggy (always a favorite) , Joey bananas which does pack some heat , fat uncle Tony’s with the amazing pepperoni and a classic tomato pie . We mixed and matched amongst the group and some friends tried the gluten free crust which was very good. The vibe of the Madison location has a fun and relaxed atmosphere with neon lights on the interior ceilings , a full bar and fun servers . Parking is easy and is located in the adjacent garage in the back . A fun night and a good location !
Our waiter was incredibly friendly and very kind. The pizza was really good too and they had gluten free crust available (not pictured). There is the chance of cross-contamination in the kitchen, but overall they were really accommodating!
We've gone several times for their weekly trivia on Wednesday. The drinks are exceptional and the food is great.
Had an amazing dinner at Salvatore's Tomato Pie in Madison, WI! The restaurant has a super cute, cozy vibe with attentive and friendly service. We tried: Burrata with a fresh local salad, Italian Calabrian street corn, harvest salad, Rigatoni Bolognese, Shrimp Scampi with bucatini, and Hangar Steak with Frites....everything was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Service was exceptional. The combination of fresh, locally sourced ingredients and authentic Italian flavors made the meal truly memorable. Highly recommend this spot for a date night, dinner with friends, or anyone looking for excellent Italian cuisine in Madison!
It’s a small cozy place with great music and food. We were greeted with a friendly face and his service was great, even though he was the only server. We had a pepperoni and sausage tomato pie, the rigatoni, and the brussel sprouts and they were all delicious. The whole atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable. We recommend.
