San Diego Ice Arena

There needs to be a limit to the amount of people you guys allow on the ice during public sessions. Public sessions are already a bit hectic, but then yall have several students getting skating and/or figure skating lessons during public skate which just takes up more space, causing even more chaos. I’ve never been to another rink like this in my life.

It was my first time at this rink. I was on a quick trip to San Diego. I skated during the Friday public. The session was 90 mins. Quite a few people but not super crowded. Plenty of parking. Nice lobby. Really good ice. I would skate here again. It’s only one sheet of ice though.

A nice rink. Been here for tournaments and now a highschool game and parking is good. They have seats, the staff are professional and courteous, bathrooms heavily used but passable clean. I wish I lived closer to be here more often.

This is my favorite ice skating rink in San Diego! As a hockey referee, I've been to all the different rinks in the San Diego area, and this one is my favorite. I'm excited that they put in new ice recently so I'm sure it will be even better now! Besides having good ice, this ice rink has the best, most fun public skate sessions. They turn off the regular lights and have colorful lights making the atmosphere more fun! The skate heroes (skaters who make sure everyone is safe on the ice) are very friendly and helpful. They have a great hockey program, coaches are good and the kids seem to enjoy it there. I also like their learn to skate classes, which look like they haven't changed since I've taken them so I'm pretty sure they're still good. They also have a good skate shop, which I recommend you buy skates from there, since renting skates is not as fun. Totally worth the price to get your own.
