San Jose has fabulous free events every first Friday of the month and this month I decided to visit this venue . I came here towards the end when some folks were jamming jazz and I was sucked into their performance ( my feet were tapping the entire time ) . The place was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying . It’s a place I’ll visit again.
Great event! Has excellent artists, great volunteers, and a variety of vendors and food to keep you busy between sets. At the Cesar Chavez plaza there were 3 different stages. General admission could bring in soft/fold up chairs and food. No outside alcohol. Rapper Common was by far the highlight (we were directly in front speakers which messed with my video sound)
I had an enchanting evening at San Jose Jazz. Went to see the incredible Brandee Younger Trio. Lovely, intimate environment; great music and sound; easy access to close parking -everything perfect! I will definitely go back!
Beautiful & intimate venue. No stage, good vibes flow freely all around. The seating includes cozy loveseats on the sides, high stools with tables in the back, and chairs in the center. General admission, come early to get the seats you want. Can meet & greet & mingle after performances. Love this spot!
This year was the best! Great vendors and great music. Everyone seems too enjoy themselves. Mixed culture I enjoyed!
