2026 - Sandalford Winery is an exciting and welcoming place to visit, with friendly, accommodating staff and a wonderfully family‑friendly atmosphere that even includes a dedicated play area for kids so adults can relax. The Chardonnay Pemberton quickly became a favourite, and the team were impressively knowledgeable and warm, making the experience feel personal and enjoyable. The cellar layout is fantastic, complete with fresh water taps between tastings, and the sight of vines planted back in 1980, still thriving and producing fruit, adds a beautiful sense of history to the visit.
We had the absolute best time experiencing the 5 wines & canapé flight with our host Jamie. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about wine. He gave us tips on how best to experience the food and wine using all our senses. We didn’t feel rushed at all and enjoyed every moment. The wine itself was divine, I am not a big red wine drinker but I finished each glass which is a testament to how fabulous the wine is! We will most definately be back! We would definately request Jamie again! The pear dish and the Passionfruit dish pairing was mouth watering!
We had an absolutely amazing experience at Salford Wine in Perth. From the moment we arrived, James and Carissa made us feel so welcome. They are incredibly friendly, informative, and truly knowledgeable about their wines. You can really feel their passion in the way they explain each tasting. My wife and I honestly had one of the best wine-tasting experiences of our lives here. It didn’t feel rushed or scripted at all — it felt personal. We ended up becoming friends, sharing common interests in food, sports culture, and hobbies, which made the experience even more special. Guys, we had a lovely time at your place. Keep up the humble humour, warmth, and professionalism. Australia truly needs more hospitality professionals like these two. Thank you, James and Carissa, for making our holiday so memorable. We’ll definitely be back! 🍷
We visited Sandalford for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful experience exploring their new Spring menu. Every course was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. For entrées, the market-fresh oysters, house-smoked ocean trout, and Shark Bay bugs were all exceptional — fresh, delicate, and full of flavour. Our mains, tiger prawn salad and market fish, were impressive. The fish fell apart, very nicely cooked! Dessert was a highlight of its own. White chocolate and jasmine tea parfait, Valrhona dark chocolate mousse, and the flight of cheese with GF biscuits. We tried one of the new cocktails, the Heat Wave, spicy and refreshing! Overall, a memorable evening with beautiful food, attentive service, and stunning surroundings.
The venue is spectacular and the service was awesome. All our waiters were knowledgeable and attentive. We had a 5 course degustation that was up to expectations. My Personal preference would be reviewing having 2 vegetables as entrees before the main. I understand cost cutting but…hence why we ordered the Octopus out of the menu. Other than this, would definitely be back and highly recommend!
