Sara made my wedding dress dreams come true! I brought in a dress that didn't fit quite right and a veil that I wanted turned into a detachable cape. Even with my big vision, she got right to work without hesitation, and she DELIVERED! It was such a fair price and quick turn around, too. Thank you Sara!
We gave Sara less than two weeks deadline, and she got right to work! We requested a hem adjustment and a waist cinch on a fabric that isn’t easy to work with. She was more than willing to help and even suggested an alternative alteration method to better preserve the original material. Her expertise and care made the entire experience stress-free, we couldn’t have asked for better service!
Fantastic 5 Star service! Sara created a custom gown and over robe for me, based only on three photos. She created the patterns, made linen templates, fitted them expertly over four visits, and completed both stunning garments. Sara made it fun to collaborate together on details, to ensure she honored my vision. Her price was extremely fair, and did not change at all, despite several design adjustments. I cannot recommend Sara Alterations enough! We planned our wedding in just one month, and I had to grab a dress off the sample rack at Signature Bridal. It was beautiful, but WAY too big in every direction. Thankfully, I was referred to Sara Alterations, and they completely transformed it. Over the course of SIX fittings, Sara and her team basically took the dress apart and rebuilt it to fit every inch of my body perfectly. The process was meticulous—two hooks, ~80 buttons, a zipper, and endless detail work later, I had the dress of my dreams. It wasn’t just tailoring; it was artistry. We also strategically placed my undergarments to help shape my body and be out of site on my lace top. The final result was iconic, timeless, elegant, and powerful. I felt like the dress was made for me from scratch. Honestly, I want to wear it every anniversary because it’s that special.
