I cannot recommend Saylor Sewing enough! Susan was absolutely incredible! She was so kind, helpful, and patient throughout the entire wedding dress alteration process. I felt so comfortable and welcomed each time I went to their studio. Everything was easy to understand, and the pricing was affordable. The bustle that Susan created was PERFECT! It added a fun flair to my dress that I didn't even know was possible. I was lucky enough to win a giveaway for a Wedding Day Concierge, and Susan and Melissa were an absolute godsend. They brought my dress, steamed it along with the bridesmaids’ and mothers’ dresses, brought snacks, and had anything we could possibly need for the day. They helped me get into my dress, put on my veil, and were just so sweet and supportive the entire time. I truly couldn’t have imagined my wedding day without them there, and I am endlessly grateful for their care and attention. I would definitely recommend this service to any bride.

I had to buy my dress off the rack, and while I loved it, it didn't check all the boxes for me. I had many changes I wanted to make, and Susan and her team brought my vision to life. I went from questioning if I picked the right dress, to wishing even now I could wear it every day of my life. Meeting several times to do different stages of my dress ensured I was getting everything I wanted along the way. My hips needed to be let out to fit correctly. The length shortened, cups changed out, straps shortened, lace moved around because of these and the integrity of the dress never suffered. I had a petticoat sewn in for body and horsehair added to the front of the dress to maintain shape. Comparing the off the rack pics to the finished product, I couldn't have been happier.
