Fiona loves going over to see Scarlet and Evan for daycare and boarding, he is so good with her. She is an English Bulldog who is very stubborn, bossy and loves to chew. We plan on getting some her some Proper girl training soon, Manners and listening skills are important to our family. We trust Evan with our princess and I am so thankful that we found him.
My dog Roscoe went to the 2 week board and train. It was truly the best thing for him as he struggled with meeting new people and leash reactivity. He has improved drastically since we started training with Scarlet K9. We can now safely have him around family and friends along with taking him on loose leash walks. Evan was very responsive and attentive when it came to updates and questions. I would recommend Scarlet K9 to anyone!
Breezy has so much fun every time she goes to visit Evan! She is an anxious girl but I can tell from the pictures and how tired she is after that she loves going to boarding and daycare at Scarlet K9. I’m so grateful to have a place to leave her where I feel she is well taken care of!
Our experience with Evan at Scarlet K9 was the best! From the very moment we reached out about dog training, Evan was extremely responsive and generous with his time even before we committed to his program. He helped us adjust our expectations of our newly adopted puppy, answered our questions, and provided recommendations. Evan is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about each dog he works with, it is evident that he wants the best for dogs and their families. Training with Evan was one of the best investments we’ve made and we’re so happy to have a sweet puppy who is of course energetic, but who is also calm and able to adapt to and handle new experiences. I am so glad we found Evan/scarlet k9! We adopted an adult dog from a foreign country we chose her because she’s very affectionate and calm and lacked any aggression towards other animals (we have cats too) but when we brought her home she very quickly began to display fearful anxious behaviors and was clearly not house trained. We tried advice from the foster agency but nothing was sticking. After explaining all the issues to Evan in a phone consult it felt almost as if he already knew our dog. It’s helped so much to have more insight into her behaviors to understand our dog and know how to best manage her. We knew because of her fearful behavior a group training environment was not going to work for her so we are doing in-home training. After the first session he set in place a plan for us to start working on house training and improving her barking and attachment issues. It’s been about a month and we’re already seeing a drastic difference. We have a much better behaved dog and hardly any accidents in the house. We are so proud of her! It’s a lot of learning for us as owners and consistency on our part as well but if you want a happy well adjusted dog and home with your pup, training is one of the best investments you can make. Going with scarlet K9 was the best decision we made!
