I was very hesitant to leave a poor review because my stylist was awesome and I had a really good time, but the cut was definitely not a great quality. I still tipped my stylist because she was a great conversationalist and all around great hang, but I had beard hairs left over on my neck, the sides of my head did not match in length, and the back of my head was mismatched lengths as well. I would be a little less upset if I received this cut at a Sports Clips for $40, but for an over $80 cut, shampoo and condition, and beard trim/lineup, plus a $20 tip, I expected a higher quality product.
Love S&S! After leaving a big retail brand barber, I decided to try this place and was very happy with the cut and all the other services that were provided. I had Lamont as my stylist and he really took the time to learn about me and what services I needed/or could benefit me. He also provided great recommendations to guide me on both visits.
First time here. Was greeted by a warm, smiling host. Offered a complimentary beverage while I wait. My barber was very attentive and asked questions about what I was looking for in a haircut. I definitely recommend coming here
I got the 10 year with a fade and razor detail, and a a beard trim for $111. I saw a review that states this shop is like a glorified Sports Clips with a bar and I have to say that is pretty spot on. The staff are all friendly and have great customer service. However, as a man that loves a good fade, if you are looking for a fade do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The fade was so bad most everyone I know in Houston and back home said where is the fade?! They said the barber didn’t even blend the fade at all, so you can’t even call it a fade. The last two pictures are from a different barbershop that blended my fade and sideburns properly. The pictures I showed of the cut I wanted were of myself, and I did describe that I wanted a fade, but I did not know I would actually have to say I want the fade blended as well 😅. For the price the cut is definitely not worth it, however, to some the experience and membership could be worth it, but again, to myself, and any man that loves a good fade and does not want to go every 6 - 7 weeks for a cut, this is not the place for you to get chopped.
I was beyond impressed. A wonderful bar as soon as you walk in. Such a great atmosphere throughout and very welcoming. The entire experience was GRAND! It was just what I needed after a long work day. Did I want to make a long drive no? Did I yes? Was it worth it? Most definitely! I’ve been following Destiny since 2015 & I’m extremely stoked that she is working here now. She’s so wonderful and has them healing hands. I loved the entire GRAND experience that I signed up for the membership today. And it comes with great perks. Of course I enjoyed my visit with Destiny today; as I was getting my haircut I observed everyone’s interaction with their clients and everyone seemed really happy and enjoying the same great experience as I. Great chatter and laughter. As well as the bartender engaging so well with her customers at the bar. Booking appointments is so easy and the checkout experience is great. If you need a nice retreat/haircut experience this is your spot. -Sampson Villalobos-
