Where do I begin? MAL-273 - CHATEAU DE MALIBU 6 BR7.5 BA14 GUESTS....The pictures online are amazing. Unfortunately, aside from the views and exact physical stature of the house itself, what you see is NOT what you get! · master bedroom was 86 degrees. The AC was not working. · very very poor internet connection · stovetop make a ticking sound every time we cooked Mold on the shower faucet · Rust on the toilet bowl cleaner · The safe door posed a huge risk to my kids that wanted to go down stairs to do movie night in the theater. That is not normal wear and tear. That is a huge liability risk had anyone gotten hurt with that big metal piece hanging out. · The wall in the racquet club room falling out is not normal "wear and tear". To have a piece of wall just hanging off from the top is a huge liability and risk to my kids and family. · Pyrex and pots had previous customers old food stains on them · Broken microwave · Pee stains from previous guests on toilet · Doors to the guest house and main house did not lock. That is a safety risk. I have proof I tried reaching out to them cuz text while there and still got denied compensation back for this awful experience that ruined our vacation.
Sea Breeze Rentals deserves a ZERO. My family rented a vacation home in California and when we got there, the home was disgusting and in disrepair. The pictures on the website are beautiful and pristine and the reality was horrifying. We left 3 hours after arriving and they would not refund our money. We ended up paying for lodging at another hotel, doubling the cost of our vacation. Sea Breeze would not call us back with the status of the re-cleaning. There is no management. They give a canned response and sound like robots on the phone. The refrigerator was falling out of the wall, there was a giant hole in the wall, a huge hair ball in the master shower. The linens were absolutely disgusting, makeup and bodily fluids all over them, dead bugs, dust, food, and debris everywhere. There was sand on the appliances and furniture. All of this during COVID. No cleaning signs posted or safety precautions taken. This was the worst experience of our lives. Completely ruined our vacation. A restaurant moved their operations out in front of the 'quiet' neighborhood advertised and we were not notified prior to our visit. BUYER BEWARE. Don't waste your time, money, or energy on any Sea Breeze Rental. This place was a DUMP and the customer service was TERRIBLE.
Wish I could give this company a "zero stars" review. Worst ever! We rented a beachfront property on Beach Rd in Dana Point. We arrived to find a full construction crew camped out on the patio and working on an enormous beach project. Sea Breeze told us that they didn't know the owners were "shoring up" their beach and there was nothing they could do for us. We had no beach or patio access until the last day of our vacation. Sea Breeze offered 5% off on a future stay. Laughable! There will definitely not be any future stays with this crooked company. Save yourself the stress and headaches .. rent elsewhere!
Tuvimos una reunión de 37 años con amigas de secundaria de todo el mundo. Todas eran mujeres y era muy importante contar con un buen lugar para hospedarse. Basándonos en la presentación de la casa, incluso compramos un seguro para que, si pasaba algo a esta casa 'VIP', pudiera cubrirlo. Llamé unas cuantas veces más y dejé mensajes, pero nadie nos devolvió la llamada. Después del viaje los contacté, pero fue muy difícil dar con ellos. Después de dos meses de correos, llamadas y de enviarles las fotos, finalmente me enviaron un correo ofreciéndonos un cupón de $500 para la próxima estancia y se me pidió no dejarles una mala reseña. Muy decepcionados de esta casa y del servicio; pagamos por una casa de lujo y no recibimos lo que pagamos. Nunca asumieron la responsabilidad y ni siquiera se disculparon. We chose our rental for several reasons, location, price, my dog was permitted and the "private" patio he could use to exercise. We loved everything, but we had no privacy. People would walk in and enjoy the patio we paid for. Considering our door led to the patio, we did not feel safe nor did I feel I could let my dog out for fear of someone allowing him out the door or even taking him. In addition, on the morning of our last day, we were sitting on the patio when the maintenance man walks in. NO KNOCK and almost let's my dog out! No apologies whatsoever. He proceeds to run a leaf blower while we are trying to relax!!!! He doesn't ask permission! We still had the place for a few more hours and had not checked out so why weren't we warned he would be coming? Either warn people the patio is not private or please put locks on the gates. We were told by Juan that the patio was for our use only, but several people just wandered into use it several times. I had to kick one person out. Also either tell the maintenance people to wait until we have checked out to come clean or tell us that they are coming. I would love to stay here again, but the stress of staying here and not knowing if someone was going to walk in and disrupt my peace this time will probably preclude my returning
