I recently found out that Candice is no longer at this Sharkey’s location, and it honestly broke my heart. I felt it was so important to leave this review because she truly made such a difference for our family. Candice used to cut my baby boy’s hair, and he is very sensitive to new environments and not comfortable with unfamiliar people, which can make haircuts extremely stressful for both parents and child. From the moment we walked in, her energy was absolutely amazing. She greeted us with the warmest smile, made us feel welcomed and safe, and immediately put us at ease. Throughout the entire haircut, Candice was incredibly patient, gentle, and kind with our son. She never rushed us, never showed frustration, and handled every moment with so much care and understanding. What really stood out was her beautiful, positive energy — the kind that’s contagious. She was always smiling, calm, and genuinely loving with her work, and that made such a big difference for us as parents. Every visit was a great experience because of her, and she consistently did an amazing job. Losing her at this location truly feels like a loss, but I hope Candice knows how appreciated she was and how much she meant to our family. Any salon that gets her next is incredibly lucky. Thank you, Candice, for making what could have been a stressful experience into something comforting and positive every single time.
We had such a wonderful first experience at Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids! The stylist was incredibly kind and patient. The playful atmosphere helped our child relax and enjoy the haircut. We left with a great cut, a happy kid, and lots of smiles. Highly recommend!
The lady that cut my grandkids hair was so Patient with the baby we went to another place were we use to go but they didn’t wanted to get him because she was by her self but she didn’t had no one and it was going to be only the sides. So we decided to go strait to sharkey’s cut for kids and they accepted him right away He was crying a lot because he dosent like having his hair cuts and but the lady that cut it there for him she was VERY nice and patient with him she was trying to calm him while she was, cutting his hair I will definitely take my kids and my grand kids to her i totally recommend her. Her name is Ruth by the way she did a great job even thoug that the baby was moving ALOT she l did. A great job is the first time that someone dose a very good hair cut on him . He got his hair cut for he’s birthday party and on the party everyone was asking were he got the hair cut at because they loved it and they want to take there kids there too so. I highly recommend Ruth 100% percent please ask for her she will make your to feel very comfortable having there haircut with her 🩷
First time here with Candace and it won’t be the last! She immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. Not only did she give my son an amazing haircut but she also was so attentive and made sure he and I were comfortable.
If I could give Sharkey's more than 5 stars I absolutely would! We had such an amazing experience with Candace! She was so patient and fun to talk to and she is amazing with kids! It was our son's first time getting his haircut and when I tell you I was so nervous to go in, I really was. Mainly, because our son is 15 months and I had no idea how he was going to do while getting his haircut. But as soon as we stepped foot into Sharkey's we were met with the warmest welcome and big smiles! Instantly my nervousness faded and the fun began. We will definitely be back and make this our regular spot to cut our baby's hair!
