Unfortunate and complete disappointment. We chose to sit at the dust covered sushi bar we realized and attempted to order, they didn't have 6 of the things I ordered, not 1 or 2, but 6! I asked as i do when I sit down at every sushi bar, if they had anything not on the menu or special and the older woma, in the plum blouse, behind the sushi bar snickered at me repeating "special" while condescendingly chuckling as if I made a joke. The food experience itself was awful when it came to what they DID have. Poor fish cutting along with a sashimi salmon that was obviously old and near inedible. The service was the only good thing about the place. Can't and won't speak to the hibachi or teppen they offer as I won't be back. Do not recommend. Paid $100 and left 60% of the food on the table.

Came here with my family of 7. I made a reservation for dinner and though it wasn’t super busy that evening, I wouldn’t have known without going in first. It’s important to note that there is a sign that states they won’t seat until every member of your party is there. We did the hibachi grill and enjoyed our time. Chef was great and waitress was attentive. A couple of my family members ordered sushi as well and liked it all. I ordered the chicken hibachi and while I thought it was a little dry, it was still delicious. The soup was also good, though I don’t think it’s miso soup, but just clear soup. The dressing on the salad was good but the salad could use more ingredients besides just some plain lettuce and one slice each of cucumber and tomato. I don’t recall other hibachi places upcharging for fried rice (+$2.50), but maybe that is simply built into the price. I like that we also received grilled shrimp with our meal, and they’re good pieces of shrimp too, not anything small. Overall, my family enjoyed their time here and would return again.

I have been going to Shiki for years and just never reviewed them. One of the best hibachi places I have visited. Their Miso soup is so good. Instead of the white soup base, it's clear (as pictured) and I always decline the salad and get a second soup. They are usually pretty consistent when it comes to cooking regardless of the chef, which is a great thing. Unless something drastically changed, I will continue to support their business every chance I get.

We had a surprise birthday party of about 20 and we're in a separate room which was great. The service was good and entertainment was awesome. The fried rice was delicious but the steak which I requested ...med rare was WAY overcooked...it was well done and absolutely NO flavor. More restaurants like this closer to home...Will not return.

3.7 stars. With the wintry weather mix, most restaurants were closed. My co-worker spotted this place so we stopped in to get dinner. Simple, unassuming but clean, we were quickly greeted and seated. He got the Steak and Chicken while I went with the Steak and Calamari. Each entree came with soup and salad as well as a 3-piece shrimp appetizer. The chef did a good job on the hibachi grill and whipped up our meals in no time at all. Portions were hearty and quality quite good. All-in for dinner and tip ran us right at $80.
