Took the bus tour with Laura this weekend and had an awesome time. She showed so much enthusiasm and her delivery was very entertaining and informative covering the history of San Antonio along with its more horrific side. She supported these stories with pictures on her iPad and through video on the bus. I appreciated the multimedia approach and was able to retain more details. The bus was comfortable and the driver easily navigated through the streets while we learned about the places we were going to visit. Regardless if you believe in paranormal activity, there were a few people on my tour that had detectors.and were quite excited about their findings. We made four stops and were given time to explore the grounds on our own for a bit. We went inside the Merger hotel and Cemetery #1, while remaining outside of the Governor's Palace and Casa Navarro. The meeting point at Oddities Parlor was very easy to find, as it's literally attached to the Merger hotel. There's a Starbucks located right across from it so you can grab a hot coffee to take on the tour, especially during the cold weather at this time. All the staff was very friendly and check-in was a breeze. I highly recommend supporting this local small business.
Absolutely fantastic experience. The tour was hilarious engaging and the time flew by. Our tour guide Yucan Sean was incredibly funny and charismatic and really made the stories come alive while keeping everyone entertained the entire time. The bus driver Jess the Ripper was amazing as well and her banter with Yucan Sean was genuinely hilarious plus she got us around safely and smoothly. When we checked in Lily at the front register was extremely kind and welcoming which set a great tone from the start. The whole team clearly loves what they do and it shows. Overall this was such a fun and memorable experience. I even managed to capture some odd and unexplained things in photos of windows and hallways which made it even more exciting. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun spooky and well run tour and oddities shop. The pic of the Alamo was taken on our walk back to our Hotel after the tour ended.
Lee, our tour guide was really fun! He was very knowledgeable about the history of San Antonio and gave great tips also on places to see. Spooky stories and haunted tales await! Robert the bus driver was fantastic as well. Made us all feel safe, and had a great sense of humor! My wife and I actually were staying at the Menger Hotel during our visit and we got some cool spooky history about it as well!! Would totally recommend booking with them for a fun evening!!
Had a awesome time and the host was very entertaining. We learned alot about San Antonio's history on this tour that I had no idea being a resident of 33 years here. We took a few photos and captured ghost, we would love to come back and do this again. Tips I would suggest, make sure to arrive 15mins early, do not drink so much water to avoid using the restroom, it is a bit of walking so wear your most comfortable shoes and the cemetery has tarantulas, dirt and rocks so cover up. Last big tip don't shine your flashlight on the guide just point it directly to the ground.
We had a FANTASTIC experience on our ghost bus tour!! Yukon Sean was our tour guide and he did an amazing job relaying all the stories and haunted histories, as well as making sure we were all laughing and having a good time! We visited several haunted spots in the downtown area, and ended it all with a tour of a cemetery. I even (possibly) captured something on camera! In the pic of the window at the Spanish Governors Palace, if you zoom in to the doorway you can see a face. Whether you believe in spirits or not, this was an absolute blast and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience!
