I just saw Dr. Laura Lumen again today, and after raving to her about how thrilled I’ve been with her expertise, warmth, and consistent emphasis on keeping my face looking natural, youthful, and healthy, I realized I needed to write this review. I’ve been coming to SkinSpirit in NW Portland for several years now, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the professionalism and kindness of the front desk staff, to the treatments provided by skilled medical aesthetician Taylor, to the incomparable Dr. Lumen, SkinSpirit in Portland is the best place in town to find practitioners who will partner with you to create a long term plan to help you look and feel your best. 11 out of 10 stars.
I’ve been working with Taylor M since May of 2025 upon recommendation from a friend. My skin has always been pretty good, but I was starting to notice some normal signs of aging that I wanted to address. Taylor has always been kind and thorough, and makes me feel informed and at ease about the treatments I receive. She’s tailored services and products to meet my specific goals, and I get compliments on my glowy skin all of the time! I’ve recommended Taylor to a bunch of friends and would recommend her to you, too. The front desk staff is also very sweet and personable, making the whole experience great from start to finish. I’m so glad to have added SkinSpirit to my self-care routine!
Dr. Laura Lewman is incredible! I began seeing her during a major hormonal transition, and her thoughtful, holistic approach completely transformed my skin. She simplified my routine, focused on long-term skin health, and created a plan that truly works without ever pushing unnecessary products or treatments. Nearly two years later, my skin has never looked better. I trust her completely and deeply value her honesty, consistency, and expertise. I have referred friends who love her as well. If you are looking for a provider who listens, cares, and delivers real results, Dr. Lewman is exceptional!
On a friend’s recommendation, I just had my first ever facial with Taryn today, and met with Maddy for my first dysport treatment on the 19th (both at the Portland location). I was weary about both treatments, especially the dysport, but I can honestly say that these ladies made me feel completely at ease. It’s been a very hard year in many ways, and a little self care has definitely been needed! I felt zero pressure, or any sense of being “upsold” on anything. They both took the time to make me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for that. Truly they are both such lovely people, and I would highly recommend them!
My aesthetician, Taryn, is super friendly and welcoming! She’s also very professional — she guided me through each skincare process and helped me choose the best treatment for my skin type. I did my very first facial here, and there was absolutely no pressure or upselling, just genuine care and expertise. I left feeling so refreshed and confident — definitely an instant return client!
