I was looking forward to this haircut appointment for my daughter because I read online that they work with special needs/autistic children. They should not advertise such. The place is a sensory overload from the colors on the walls, multiple televisions playing different shows to the racks of toys in the salon. They should also note that they have “small children” chairs. May sound minor but I wasn’t expecting toddler sized chairs. The only hairdresser said hello, asked what I wanted and told me how much I owed. That’s it. Some casual conversation would have been nice but I really would have appreciated being asked if I was satisfied with the haircut (I asked for her to trim my daughter’s hair all around). My daughter walked up to me and said she was done. The hairdresser soaked her hair with water and “trimmed” her hair. I honestly was hoping that because it was so wet that it would look shorter when it dried but no. She literally looked like she had no cut at all. The hairdresser said it was $28, never mentioned the $7 coupon for first timers and I even tipped her. That’s is our first and last time here.
This was our third visit to Snip-its Haircut at Vintage, and it was by far the most disappointing. My daughter received a haircut that was not only uneven but also looked incredibly a hot mess. I believe the stylist's name was Amy. This outcome is particularly upsetting as our previous two experiences were positive. To have such a drastic drop in quality is concerning, and it has left me feeling quite unhappy with her hair.
Lesly was so great with my one year olds first haircut! She was gentle even tho he was wiggly, she stayed patient with him and the did a really good job on his haircut 😀 the check in was easy. The place was clean and they even had cocomelon on a TV nearby. Also there were toys there for baby and he got a lil sticker and a lollipop when he was done. 10/10 overall experience
I asked for bangs. They did not blend it and they just cut a straight line going so far back. My daughter’s face after seeing the mirror says it all. For those saying it’s still wet I add one with most of the hair dry.
There’s usually and older lady and this time it was a different girl. She left my daughter like this. Is not even straight and I payed for this! Do not recommended at all. I used to come here, but never again.
