My favorite place to get new books! Snug has a pretty wide selection, but if you want something specific that's not in stock, they can order it for you. They also have a great selection of reading-adjacent items like pens, bookmarks, small puzzles, stickers, and fidget items. I buy a lot of things for myself here, and also gifts for others. Their book recommendations are also on point.
Great selection and very nice staff. They offered complimentary gift wrapping and made sure a book I wanted got here before Christmas. Pickup was easy and the store was extremely organized.
Every single time I come in here, I feel instantly happy. I always leave with a few books, and they are happy to special order anything for you. The owners are really, really lovely. They are neighbors as well and so I love supporting the place for multiple reasons. They truly do fit in perfectly in this neighborhood and care about others. I am beyond happy that they wound up in our neighborhood. We are really lucky to have them! Remember, with the holidays coming up, companies like Amazon do not need your money, but small bookstores do. If you have any books to order, please please please consider just ordering directly through these guys and they will call you as soon as your order is in. Support your small bookstores before Amazon takes over everything.
Visited Snug Books for the first time last week. I’ve been trying to find more bookstores in the city as I increase my reading so I’m happy to have come across them. The story is very cozy but a nice size with a million and one books to choose from. The staff was super friendly from the time I entered (welcomed with a big “Hello!”) to check out to the time I left! The gentleman that checked me out helped me to look up a book that I was looking for & although it was in store he offered to order and said they would call as soon as it came in. He also shared the stores calendar which has a host of different events that take place during the week from author meet and greets to story time and adult nights out. Overall it was a great first experience and I look forward to going back for my next book!
One of my favorite local book stores. A great selection that I love browsing when I come to grab a coffee & bagel next door. The staff are all super friendly and helpful! There’s also staff picks/suggestions listed throughout the store. I love how creative and fun the events are.
