Make sure your dogs bordatela /kennel cough shots are under 6 months and more than 2 weeks. Our dog got kennel cough along with the vets dog, but ours was more than 6 months but under a year. She looks like she had a lot of fun though when we picked her up.

I have boarded my 1 year old German Shepherd here many times and I always have peace of mind that he is in greats hands. I drive all the way from downtown Miami to go to SoMi whenever I need to board my pup because everyone that works there is amazing, the resort is very nice and big and they always take great care of him. Very much worth the price!

A little on the pricey side but the quality of care ends up worth it. I love that for play time they do temperament testing upon first boarding, making sure your dog can get along well with others. They have a well run facility and always clean. They give updates on how your pup does when you come to pick them up, including if there were any scuffles or incidents even if nothing resulted from it, which I really appreciate. It can be costly for long term stays but leaving my high energy dog here for a couple days and paying for the all day play ($10 extra per day), she comes home and knocks out which is what I love to see!

We boarded our dog Mouse here when we lived in Coral Gables. Somi is incredible. The time and attention they gave Mouse was awesome. They make drop off and pick up super easy. They know all of the dogs that stay with them personally. I was always impressed every time I dropped Mouse off how excited he was to see the staff and how he’d just melt when they picked him up to take him back. Somi is always super attentive, very communicative. It was great to be able to board him at a place we had so much trust in. Highly recommend Somi!!
