Sonia is an incredible professional for both officiating and personalizing ceremonies. As a photographer in San Francisco, I have referred over 60 clients to her, and every single one has been extremely happy with her service. She takes care of the documentation, which is one of the most confusing parts for couples, and she is always responsive, clear, and supportive throughout the process. Her pricing is very fair, her professionalism is outstanding, and she makes you feel confident and secure every step of the way. If you want to have your ceremony and paperwork handled by someone you can truly trust, Sonia is the right choice. Highly recommended.
We actually made the final decision on December 7 to marry on December 12 at SF City Hall. Sonia was truly awesome in helping us navigate the barriers inherent in last-minute arrangements, and we had a delightful experience with her leading the ceremony itself. I would give her a 5-Star recommendation as an officiant, and helper if you are looking for someone to perform your marriage ceremony.
I got married on 10/2/25 and hired Sonia. She was very professional and communicative. She did our ceremony in English and Spanish. She went above and beyond by helping getting everyone in the wedding party organized to walk in as we had no time to practice. She was very patient and she had great presentation. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an officiant.
Sonia was the best officiant I could have asked for. She made sure we were comfortable with her, kept in contact with us before the wedding and after. She even helped us organize our ceremony at SF City Hall. She even went above and beyond by sending out our marriage license for us. You can tell that she loves what she does. I highly recommend Sonia!
