Highly Recommended! I had significant water damage to the eaves and soffit area of my home, and this contractor did a fantastic job from start to finish. The area was rotted, cracked, and visibly falling apart. They came in, assessed the damage, and got right to work. They were professional, efficient, and the end result looks better than new. You would never know there was ever any damage. I’m extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again or recommend them to anyone needing repairs done right. To start off, I called South Texas Contractors and Roofing for a bid on a commercial project. And this project was a tight timeline. Grand opening of our 2nd store in an entirely different state. So we knew we had to find someone reliable and honest to get the job done. We bid out the contract to multiple companies however upon meeting each of the other companies in person to get quoted for the job, we knew immediately wilson is the guy to get this job done. We ensured each of the other contractors understood the vision, with detailed plans. No one else could see what we saw when we needed to convert a warehouse, which was originally a data center, then turned into a roofing company, and now into a partial retail and partial warehouse. Now let me tell you, dream and imagine, communicate it with Wilson and his team, and deliver they shall! South Texas Contractors and Roofing - Wilson double checked everything, Made sure that our roof was in a new enough condition with enough insulation to keep the Texas heat out during the hot summer months. Him and his team Knocked down a bunch of interior walls for us, framed them up to make them look showroom ready. Ripped out all the dirty office carpet, polished all the concrete and made it look ready to sell some balloons! 10/10 recommend Wilson and his team, Javier, essentially his foreman, took care of our building like it was his! Taking ownership now a days is a rare quality to come by. The team ensured the water wasn't running when they were gone during the warmer days, and made sure to lock up the building at every entrance. And on the freezing days, Javier would go and turn on the water faucets to ensure none of the pipes burst. There were a bunch of change orders and add ons that we asked Wilson and his team to do, and without hesitation they did it. Installing pallet racks, changing light fixtures, his team even received the pallet racking for me, ensuring that everything was good to go. I wish I had more pictures of before and after, but I only have a few. Wilson beat our deadline, and finalized everything in time for us to start setting up retail shelving and start rolling in our merchandise on our tight timeline. And i forgot to mention when we first contacted Wilson to when he started work. We had asked him for a quote scoping everything, from dumps, to tear down, to lifting the drop ceiling height, he came back to quote us within a few days. After receiving quotes from the competition 2 weeks later, WITHOUT full scopes, we told wilson to adjust the quote a couple times to get into our budget area, which he was hyper responsive and got back to us 3rd week of December, 2024. We signed before Christmas Eve, and he started work right after Christmas Day immediately. Original project was fully complete as of last week in February 2025. 10/10 recommend Wilson, Javier, and the rest of the team for any project you have. Commercial, residential, they'll get it done. Here's to hoping our paths cross again some day soon! We'll be sure to call you when we need to build a home!
I really am amazed at how well this company listened to me when I explained what wanted built. It was like they drew up exactly what I had imagined. The fact that Wilson gave credit to all the instruments in his company, it said everything I needed to know about his character. I had 2 other contractors visit my project, and these gentleman were pushing these things cookie cutter designs onto my kitchen table like if didn't just tell them exactly what I wanted. My disciption of south Texas contractors; listeners integrity punctual, detailed and a man of his word, this is how i describe Wilson and his crew. I strongly recommend this team.
Worked with Wilson to install a railing on my home. Everything went very smoothly and he addressed minor touch ups with speed and excellent communication. 10/10 would do business again in the future and recommend to friends
Wilson coordinated a wonderful team of painters for the exterior of our home. Communication was strong throughout the entire process. The project was started and completed in one week as promised, and would have been earlier had it not been for windy conditions and a day of storms. Tim & Joe (the painters) were always respectful, trustworthy, and precise about their work. So thankful for their diligence and bringing our home to life. Will definitely be hiring them again for another home project in the future!
