I was very excited to visit Old Town since it came highly recommended, especially as I was visiting from out of state. This shop was my very first stop. The store itself was cute and had a great variety of items. I especially loved the kids’ section — I had my baby with me, and it was refreshing to see more than just typical adult souvenirs like shot glasses and magnets. The educational books about the area, culture, and history were a great touch. Unfortunately, my checkout experience brought the rating down. The employee who rang me up came across as unfriendly and rushed. The small plastic gift bag was handed to me bundled up, causing a golf ball I purchased to fall onto the floor. Another employee kindly offered to pick it up. I also tried making small talk while asking for change for the penny machine outside, but she barely responded or made eye contact. As I was leaving, I could hear staff arguing about cash found under the drawer, which felt unprofessional. I would consider returning in the future, but I hope customer interactions are more welcoming next time.
My husband was on a trip to see family and they visited this store. He brought home the cutest flying pig planter...I'm in love!
Great variety of souvenirs offered here!! Really enjoyed going in the store - we ended up getting 6 unique coasters, a cool cactus plant, a magnet and sweatshirt. They wrapped the cactus plant up well so it was easy to fly home with too!
We love this store and all of the staff there. They are always so helpful and knowledgeable. My son had to buy gifts for an international conference he was attending and one of the women there gave us the best ideas for little trinkets to bring. The kids all loved them! It is our go to place whenever we need to buy gifts or whenever we have guests in town. It’s in the heart of Old Town and they’re open late!
