Amazing experience all the way around. Couldn’t recommend more. Go for the 10am entrance and take the astronaut training facility tram. See the Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks movie. Even the food options were good!
Amazing experience, had fun looking through the various sections. Would advice getting the sections tickets immediately after paying the main or general ticket you arrive so as to beat the queue and not miss out in any part of the center. Extra tickets price for some VR experience. The trams can get boring but it’s quite an educative experience.
Space Center Houston is a premier science and space exploration museum that serves as the official visitor center of NASA’s Johnson Space Center. It offers an inspiring and educational experience where visitors can explore real spacecraft, including moon rocks, astronaut suits, and historic capsules from NASA’s missions. One of its highlights is the tram tour, which takes guests behind the scenes to working NASA facilities such as Mission Control and the astronaut training areas. Interactive exhibits, immersive theaters, and hands-on simulations help visitors understand space travel, future missions, and the challenges of exploring beyond Earth. With its blend of history, innovation, and interactive learning, Space Center Houston is a must-visit destination for anyone curious about space and science. There are four Tram tours and four Films and shows available on daily basis. Photo of broucher is added for ready reference. For tram tours, registration is required at the entrance of the centre. It is advised to register immediately after the entry, lest all four tours won't be available. Films and shows are available through out the day at intervals. No extra charges either for Tram tours or shows. Full day is required for best utilisation of the day.
Great place for all ages. It has a ton of fun things to do, including off-site fun like rocket park and the astronaut training facility. The tram tours were nice. The mission:sketch was really cool, and the robots were nice too. There were so many fun things to do and see. The space simulators were really cool, fun, and educational. The cafeteria food was not as bad as I expected, and it was preety good. The skittles machine is super cool, I recommend it.
An unforgettable experience at NASA Johnson Space Center! Touching a real moon rock in the Starship Gallery was a surreal moment, connecting me to the Apollo missions’ incredible history. The 2 PM Mission Control Tour was the highlight—standing in the room where Apollo 11 made history and learning about current ISS operations was mind-blowing. The Artemis program and Mission Mars exhibits sparked so much excitement for humanity’s future on the moon and beyond. The Saturn V rocket at Rocket Park is a must-see—its sheer size is awe-inspiring! Despite a tight 4-hour visit (arrived at 12:30), every minute was packed with wonder. Highly recommend for anyone curious about space exploration. Tip: Book the Mission Control Tour early and wear comfy shoes for walking!
