I'm so impressed with the progress my daughters are making with their in-studio piano lessons. The progressive system works well and my girls are always excited to move on to the next book. When I heard their first public performance at this winter's holiday recital, I honestly couldn't believe how far they'd come. Alissa and Adriana are very patient with the kids and good communicators with parents. We're happy to have been coming here for more than a year and plan to continue.

After many months of research and referrals for voice lessons we landed with Adam at Teachout. From the very first lesson my granddaughter was comfortable and happy with her experience. What a unique and FUN way to have piano lessons. I found Teachout through a Google search to get my 6 year old signed up for lessons. She has been enjoying it since early 2024. The class sizes are appropriate for the number of instructors, and you are able to have privacy while being present in the group class by having your keyboard plugged into the keyboard. This is kind of fun because it's almost like doing a group activity without having to be too social (an introvert's delight ;) ) The instructors are also encouraging and kind. My daughter is very shy on stage and has done 2 recital performances so far and has done very well. I used to drop my daughter off and just wait for her outside, but had decided recently that I should also go back to playing and starting taking lessons. I love the way the class is set up on a personal level as well. I like to be able to just play through the book and work on songs that I like, and then have the instructors come over to listen and help me improve/relearn my skills. I feel it would be the same way whether you are experienced or not also. My daughter had never played before and seems to catch on well. What I also like about it is that I joined my daughter's class. We now have something special we can enjoy together, and are both eager to make time to practice when we can at home. It's a great "parent and me" activity. Cost is also on par with what you'd expect for musical lessons. I encourage anyone who is interested to sign up and give Teachout a shot! I promise that you'll love it whether you're a pianist already of any experience level, or coming to learn how to play for the first time. You will definitely enjoy the casual and friendly atmosphere while you spend an hour channeling your inner musician. :)

As an older piano student, I was a bit nervous to sign up for first time lessons. From day one, Alissa made me feel incredibly comfortable. She took the time to gauge my skills and helped me learn how to be confident. She takes the time to make sure we are each progressing and advancing. She makes learning fun! I’m so glad I found her and highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn or improve their skills.
