Authentic korean Food. Large servings, come hungry! Fresh and delicious. Also More on the spicy side. Yummy!
A+, 5 stars, fire, slaps…..ohhhh man whatever you call it this place is legit. I was only in the Bay Area briefly and had one meal to give to the cause of good food. So I stopped here. Bibimbap called me. Ohhh yeah. The side dishes in advance were awesome—kimchi, picked cucumbers, radishes and a few others that really set the stage for the main dish. I loved the stone bowl Bibimbap w/spicy pork came in. It really gave nice crust to the rice. Although the food was quite hot and sizzly. The dish was perfectly spicy and I enjoyed every bite. I’ll be back for the house special and the KFC next time…or maybe back to the Bibimpap. :)
Delicious and satisfying! I had the noodles, which were flavorful with just the right balance of spice and texture. The side dishes were fresh especially Kimchi. The service was friendly and attentive. Cozy atmosphere and good value. The prices were reasonable for the quality. Whether you're a longtime fan of Korean cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is absolutely worth a visit.
I was charging my EV and realized that I was quite hungry. I opened Google maps and looked for a place to eat near me. Discovered spoon Korean bistro. I decided to walk over and try it. I am glad that I did. I ordered the lunch box special with spicy pork. Everything was flavorful. The pork was tender and juicy. They have a small shaded outdoor area to dine. And they do have some limited seating inside. Everything was clean and they even offered me cold water while I waited. I have seen this restaurant on doordash but I have never tried it. But now I will order with confidence. I recommend this place for anybody who likes Korean food with a little bit of spice. Definitely going to try some of the other dishes that they have.
I'm from the area, and I've been to this place several times, but this time, I noticed they had a significant change in the menu and interior. Perhaps they may have remodeled or are under new management? Anyway, it's on the pricey side, but the food tasted good, as usual. Their portions were generous enough for us to finish them in two meals.
