I've used Spurr on two different occasions and was impressed with their quality of work, professionalism and communication. Recently while we were away on vacation our "smart" thermostat indicated that there may be a problem with our furnace, the heat would not kick in and the house temps were dropping by the day. I called spurr to schedule them in upon our return, even though they were booked up they managed to fit me in. In the meantime they were very helpful with troubleshooting, their time and their advise. When we returned it turned out it was an issue with the firmware update on the thermostat, I called spurr to cancel the service call and they were just glad it was working and to let them know if I have anymore problems with it. This is the kind of customer service that you don't see all that often and something a customer remembers. I won't hesitate to call spurr for any hvac needs. TLDR; they are good
I was extremely impressed with their speedy service! I called on a Saturday morning and was told I'd receive a call back shortly, so I expected it later that day or even Monday. To my surprise, they called me back within 5 minutes! The on-call technician (I wish I remembered his name) was fantastic-he arrived right away, fixed the issue, and connected my gas range. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend Spurr Heating & Air Conditioning!
Worst time for my heating to stop working! my usual HVAC professional is out of town and I called Spurr heating yesterday evening after work as I couldn’t take another cold night. They took my call right away and the reception Brittany was super polite and friendly, she informed me someone will contact me asap after our call, within 15 minutes someone contacted me and was willing to come that’s same night with a reasonable est price. I opt for an early morning appointment instead, and they had someone here right on the designated time, 9 am. I totally forgot his name (has dark hair, glasses) but he was super amazing, polite and informed me of what he was doing and advise me on any concerns I had! My heat is up and running! they were quick, efficient and friendly! I would highly recommend and use them again for any services I have in regards to heating & cooling! Hi I had a very satisfying encounter with Spurr. I am 75 and had owned 4 houses over the years and I rarely came across such a nice team. Estimator and workers had excellent communication between themselves to tackle the project. Most people can learn the trade, but it was amazing to see the attitude of all crew. 3 technicians and they did the job so proficiently together and on their own. Esrimator was helpfull in providing good advice and showed concern and answered all my queries with good suggestions. Now, it would be my luck if the equipment gives me problems in the future, but the installation was professional and thorough. They double checked all their work together to complete. The price was reasonable. There were some cheaper contractors but I wanted to go with Spurr for the nice customer service and brand name equipment. Thank you Khalid
When our furnace broke we got quotes from a few local companies. SPURR was quick to response to our request and was able to book an assessment the next day. Sue was great, she provided all the information we needed, took measurements and offered us a few options without being pushy. She was able to schedule the installation at a time that fit our schedule. The installation crew was efficient, very friendly and left everything clean and tidy. They took the time to explain how everything works, and showed my partner the electronic parts that he was interested in. We are very happy with the process start to finish. I would recommend spurr to a friend.
