Our wedding at The State Room this August was beyond incredible. From our very first tour, we knew this venue was something special, and it exceeded every expectation on our big day. The space itself was breathtaking for every moment — from our ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception, each one offering beautiful views of the city and Boston Harbor. The food was outstanding, the service truly top-notch, and our guests are still raving that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had and one of the most stunning venues they’ve ever seen. A huge thank you to Jenna, our Event Specialist at The State Room, who was an absolute dream to work with. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made the venue coordination process so smooth and helped ensure everything at the venue was seamless and stress-free. We are so grateful for her support and expertise, and we truly couldn’t imagine our day without her. If you’re considering The State Room, know you’ll be in the best hands. It was the most perfect way to begin our marriage, and we’ll cherish the memories forever.
Where do I begin!? My husband and I met with our incredible coordinator Angela and she was everything we didn't know we needed for such a big event for us. Angela and the entire staff were amazing, kind, supportive, and made our journey to our big day pure perfection. The food was incredible, and ease of the day went with no issues, and if there was, it was handled swiftly and without stress on us! My husband and I cannot recommend enough this venue. I would say based on the experience, the venue itself was a cherry on top, but what really made this place special was Angela making it so easy for us, and the entire staff including the chef and kitchen staff. A million thanks!!!!!
Very nice place for an event. The space is top notch and the views are to die for. It has views of the city that are unmatched. It's a great place for weddings, party's, corporate events, etc... You really can't have a party in the city with a better view. The photos I posted should get the point across. I highly recommend this place for any event where you want to have a serious impact and make incredible memories.
As a wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at The State Room Boston and I must say, it is a spectacular space. From the moment you walk in, the breathtaking views of the city and the elegant decor set the tone for a truly magical day. The venue's spacious floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows provide ample opportunities for stunning photo ops. The natural light that floods the room is just perfect for capturing those intimate moments between the bride and groom, and the high ceilings allow me to get creative with my angles and shots. The staff at The State Room Boston is exceptional and always goes above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They are always on hand to answer any questions or concerns, and their attention to detail is unmatched. This level of professionalism and customer service truly sets the venue apart and makes my job as a wedding photographer much easier. And let's not forget about the food! The catering team at The State Room Boston consistently serves up delicious meals that are both beautiful and tasty. This, combined with the venue's excellent service and elegant atmosphere, makes it easy to understand why it’s one of Boston’s most sought after venues.
This venue is just absolute perfection & our coordinator Amber was a dream come true. She went above & beyond to make our day amazing; when things weren’t done to her standards or what she thinks I would want, she worked quickly to fix them, never needing to let me know there was even an issue to begin with so I could just focus on the day. Our food was AMAZING, the bar staff was fantastic, & the space was to die for. We will never be able to thank Amber or State Room/Longwood Venues for helping to make our day so memorable!
